Ugh, wish I would have looked here before I invested close to $200 for two of the Marriott pillows! Just returned from vacation and best sleep ever and decided to go with "5 star hotel" pillows. I will say shipping was quick and we were delighted the 1st night. Fast forward 3 nights later and these pillows are as flat as a pancake 😞 NO way are these the same type pillows as hotel use. I went to site to see about returning and am now aware that they cannot be returned 😑 Oh well, the dogs will receive a treat as I'm going to use these in their crates. Make sure you check out return (or lack of return) policy before you spend a good chunk of money! Sweet dreams....

I planned to purchase 2 complete sets of bedding but after seeing the prices, I bought 2 Queen size Pillows and Pillowcases to begin with, thinking I would purchase the rest over the coming months. When they arrived, I hurriedly put the pillows into their covers but was surprised to see the pillowcases were baggy and around 6 inches (15cm) too big with lots of fabric flapping loose at the end. I measured the covers to find they exceeded the measurements for Queen size covers but their measurements were an exact match for their King size pillowcases and felt I had simply been sent the wrong size by mistake. I emailed the company to find out their return procedure which they replied to by asking me to send them several photographs of the Pillows and their covers. I duly sent them the images and repeated that I had simply been sent the wrong size but was shocked to read their reply which stated they had not sent the incorrect size at all. They wrote that the covers were not too big as they fully expected them to shrink in the wash. I replied by asking if the fact that the covers sent to me matched the exact measurements given for the King size pillowcases was purely coincidental? Furthermore I asked if they would replace them if they still did not fit my Pillows after I had washed them as I couldn't see them shrinking by the 5 or 6 inches required. Emails continued to be exchanged until I finally decided to cut my losses and simply not purchase any further products from them due to fear of further problems. I had always felt prior to this that the Marriott brand had very high standards. Sadly, I no longer feel this way with this experience making me question my future hotel bookings. A real shame as the Pillows are super comfortable and it really shouldn't have been so hard for them to rectify a simple mistake.

I spent $175 on two pillows bc I loved the ones at the hotel so much and they informed me I could order them.. I received them and didn't think they were the same.. Tried them out and they are so uncomfortable and stay flat with no support.. I want the ones from the hotel so next time I'll probably just take them from the hotel since they are not the same on the website.. Disappointed and they will not email me back Edited: So customer service called me and come to find out the housekeeping put king size pillows in queen size protectors and that is why my pillow was flat at home and not the hotel.. I am so excited they are sending me protectors so they will be just like at the hotel.. Excellent customer service!!

Several years ago bought a Marriott bed (a box-spring bed made by the UK company Hypnos). In a couple of years the bed bases started to make squeaking metallic noises when one sits, lies, or rolls on the bed. Complained to shopmarriott.com customer service. They acknowledged the problem and sent new bed bases. Those new bases were silent for another year and then the story repeated itself. Again complained to the customer service, they acknowledged the problem, but then it is silent for about 2 months already. I travel frequently and have stayed at many Marriott properties all over the world. None of the beds has been making any sounds, in fact they were all silent and this is why I decided to purchase the bed in the first place. So: a) Marriott is not really delivering the same beds through this shop as one experiences at their properties b) Hypnos quality is a joke, at least in what concerns beds they deliver through this Shopmarriott. Will never by a bed from Marriott and also don't recommend anyone to do it. If you do, prepare for long waiting times and then getting a low quality product.
