Select Blinds Tracking Order Status

My 3 day blinds have been delayed twice, and will be more like 2 months? wish they would give a more realistic date.!

I have ordered from Select Blinds before, and while the quality was never top-tier, the product descriptions were at least clear, and I received what I expected. This time, however, the experience was deeply disappointing. After spending $1,200, I received the wrong blinds—top-down only, without the bottom-up functionality I specifically ordered. The quality of the blinds has noticeably declined since my previous order in 2020, and the customer service was unhelpful in resolving the issue. For the price I paid, I expected much better. Sadly, it seems Select Blinds is no longer the reliable company it once was.

We ordered blinds for our house from Select Blinds on July 2, 2022. Since that time, we have had to file warranty claims on three of our fifteen sets of blinds, with the latest warranty claim approved on June 28, 2024. After the second warranty claim, I called customer service, and they extended our warranty to five years. Now, with our third warranty claim, we are realizing even a five-year warranty isn't sufficient compensation for the rate of failure of this product. It is the Cordless Light Filtering Cellular Shades that have been failing, and they fail in the same way every time: one of the two internal cords breaks when pulling down the blinds. We don't have pets or young children. These blinds are being used by two adults who treat them gently. At the minimum, blinds should last seven to eight years. Some blinds, if handled gently, can last as long as ten to twenty years. The quality of our blinds from Select Blinds doesn't reflect their price.

I purchased no drill zebra blinds that are 70X60. My experience with Select Blinds started out good. I had missed measured my blinds. but because I purchased the fix guarantee, I had no issues getting them remade. The lady I spoke to was very nice and helpful. Now to get to why I only gave 2 stars. The instruction's for installing are useless. I had to google to be able to find anything. The no drill headrail is not as sturdy as I expected, especially for the length of the window. Also, the blind roll keeps coming out of its brackets and the roll of blind just falls and rolls away. When I rolled it back up, I didn't have the tension bar correct. Now I get to take them down and try again. The blind do not hang even are the bottom it almost like it needs a tension of some kind. I had ordered the color of water buffalo, and I expected that the blinds when closed would be the same color and not white. I guess I should have done more research on getting new blinds, but I liked the idea of no drill. So, $900.00 later, I will have to make do with these and not really be happy with them.

job was done quickly and efficently the person fitting them was called JIM. he took time to explain how to operate my new shutter blind. he was pleasant ad very helpful. first class job.
