Ordered a part online that their rep claimed to have checked was in stock and would ship and arrive to me in three days. Three days came and went with no part. Several days later I received an email claiming the part was now on backorder (I suspect it was on backorder from the get go). After multiple attempts to speak to a person and not go through a horrendously long, tedious, complicated auto system, I was told the part was on backorder with an August 1st ship date. Sounded too good to be true so again I reached out to Sears Parts Direct who informed my that that was not an actual ship date and they would be updating me on the ship date. Interestingly, their website shows the part as in stock AND backordered depending on what screen you're looking at, with a new estimated ship date of August 22nd, which again could not be confirmed. All information given by their reps was confusing at best, deceitful at worst. It's also deceitful to claim you have a part in stock, and again claim that you've personally checked to ensure it is in stock, collect monies, and fail to ship that part as promised. Sears, you can do better. Order canceled. Thanks for wasting my valuable time.

Like all the other reviews I wish I had seen before ordering, this part order is a nightmare. A simple part, a pulley, site said was in stock. Three weeks later still wasn't shipped. Multiple calls all ended at an automated system that said the part was shipped and the expected delivery was a week ago. After multiple calls a week later, and pressing the option of "something else" several times I got a live person! Was told, in broken English, the part was back ordered. I asked for a refund as I order the part elsewhere and it already arrived. Told me I would receive an email on how to cancel the order. Still waiting for the email. Guessing I got scammed out of $40. This company really needs investigated. From the rest of the reviews it really does seem to be a scam using the reputation of Sears.

I ordered an oven door replacement. They had the best price by far (almost $200 less than direct from manufacturer) and low shipping costs. It arrived less than 48 hours after I ordered it! It was exceptionally well-packaged.

Sears is not what it once was. It is Treansformco. They are struggling to stay in the marketplace. But they have many problems including the failure to have brand recognition with the younger generations. It is an honest company, SearsPartsDirect has sold /Liquidated its own inventory, They physically do not have a warehouse of parts. "IN Stock" means in stock in someone else's warehouse. This is true of most online retailers not just Sears. So when you place an order ask if the company has the part in their own warehouse or where PHYSICALLY is the part. Sears is doing what everybody else is doing. So Do not blame Sears, Walmart, does this too. Its just that Walmart does not tell you they do not have it.. You the public are to blame for not patronizing an American intuition enough and choosing Walmart and other retailers instead. I give you the disloyal un-American public Zero stars. Because there is no longer American: ShopVac, West Bend, K Mart, F.W. Woolworth, Toys R Us, Pontiac, CVS, You want the cheapest and you shop online instead of getting up and going to a store. You are a pathetic generation. We are loosing more BM retailers and brands and jobs every day. Your job is next because you do not support the BM retail system.

Said part in stock. Two days later the site says it is not in stock. (They never sent me an email, I had to check my order status online.) Started submitting cancel order requests as soon as I found that it was out of stock. 9 days later still no refund. Now they are saying refund in ANOTHER six days. Other places refund an out of stock item in a few hours. 15 days to get a refund is .... unusual. UPDATE. I did eventually get a refund.
