Republic Wireless Tracking Order Status

I've had RW for 6 years, and it's been great....until DISH bought them. Now REPUBLIC BY DISH SUCKS! After not being able to make outgoing calls and not being able to reach anyone. I called Consumer Cellular. Sadly, I believe DISH will tank RW and go bankrupt, at this rate.

I hung up after being on hold for over an hour waiting for “Support” to answer the phone. I joined the Republic wireless service during its beta phase on 12/26/11. I remained a faithful customer during the Dish takeover and upgraded to 5G devices. The service has worked reasonably well. However, support no longer exists. How can you support customers when you can't keep your own call center online? Dish? Nonetheless, besides lack of support, this takeover has created one very serious flaw in access to account information. It is no longer possible to access call history. Previously, call history was available for review and/or use for billing purposes. If it is still available, there is no obvious place to find it. Please explain why this basic feature of most cell providers is no longer available. Any professional using Republic service and billing their time, would lose all income associated with this carrier. Since it has been about 8 months since Dish assumed control, adequate time has passed for addressing this deficiency. Please make this information available via the online account console.

This is my second time using Republic Wireless unfortunately they won't let me use a new email address they want me to use my old one I can't remember it they should change that it has made me very upset it's not my fault I have a short term memory, also it's dumb that I couldn't keep my same mobile phone number from a different mobile phone carrier

I was with Republic Wireless for 4 years and recently had to change to the new 5.0 plan. I purchased a phone and plan from the new Republic Wireless/Dish. I had heard about lots of problems with RW, but it was simplest to give them a try, since I was already a customer. The activation steps were simple, except that they didn't work. I had to call and get that fixed. Then I had no bars of mobile data, I called and they said it would change in 24 hours. It hasn't. Today is the first day of the new 5.0 plan. I still have no bars/1 bar, even though the coverage map says I should have plenty. Texts seem OK, and I've made some calls, but they go to mobile even though I have WiFi calling on my phone set. I'm going to test it out for a month and see how it goes. I hope it works because I don't want to go through this again. The old RW had a community forum which was excellent. But Dish got rid of it, which is a shame, and their website help is pretty useless. Customer service is helpful for the most part, but Dish took a good RW service and made it worse. I have never had so much trouble in setting up an account -- and I was already a customer! Will update this (I hope) in a month or so.

Was with Republic for 2.5 years. First 2 years fine, then they were bought by dish network and the service went to crap. Dropped calls, gaps in service area where none existed before. TExt messages and calls not going thru. About a week before we switched, my wife and i could not find our daughter. THe texts we sent got to her phone 21 hours later. we found her after 10 minutes of searching, but our service let us down.
