Litter-Robot Tracking Order Status

Litter robot 3 I’ve owned for 4 years. This is an honest review. For the first year the robot worked well with no issues it made living in a 4 cat household much easier. It is expensive but the investment was warranted. The no odour claim just isn’t true. The small carbon filter even with changing regularly doesn’t hold in the smells well before the bag needs changing, you need to change it much more regularly before the drawer is full. The design is great for all my cats they use it and like it. Because the globe rotates the dirty litter is smeared around the top so you will be forever cleaning it ( so perhaps not scooping as much but you’re definitely cleaning more and having to reach into a dirty globe. I still liked the robot and it did its job so the small annoyances still didn’t outweigh its effectiveness. About a year in like many others I started to get pinch sensor errors, this is always due to tiny bits of litter getting trapped around the dirty litter hatch causing the sensor to go off. To stop this you need to regularly lift off the globe, vacuum and wash the hatch, again a lot of work for something that’s supposed to make your life easier. The design isn’t great there’s just too many little gaps and crevices for litter to get trapped in and causes sensor warnings. Around year 2 I started to get many more sensor warnings and weight sensor errors, I found myself cleaning and taking the robot apart very regularly and it became frustrating. The smell on the rubber inner litter globe floor became really smelly despite cleaning it and maintaining the machine well. I tried everything but the urine and poo over time penetrates into the rubber so on warmer days you’re left with a real pong! I’ve now retired my machine due to the smell and the constant sensor errors. You really do have to weigh up if you’re willing to pay a lot of money on a machine that will probably only keep you satisfied for 2 years. I’ve been searching for alternatives and still think litter robot seems to come out review wise well but £749 is an exorbitant amount of money when it’s sold for $699 in US. I believe design and glitches have been updated and a lot of issues have been ironed out with updates. Still undecided whether I’ll be left with a machine I loved but now hate and have to keep it because it cost a fortune!

The product comes with a one-year warranty, but for just $100, you can extend it to three years—a fantastic deal for such a high-quality product. Yes, it’s an investment, but don’t let the expense deter you. The Litter-Robot 4 has been worth every penny. If you’re considering it, go for it—you won’t regret it!

Absolutely fantastic! My cats took to it straight away. I've had my robot for nearly a year. My cats have scratched thr liner within less that a week Whisker sent a new one out to my address. Fantastic company 5 🌟 from me. You get what you pay for i would never buy a cheaper robot nothing compares to litter robot 4

I just bought my second Litter-Robot. I bought my first on 3/16/18. I love this litter system. For 6+ years I had 2 cats, now only one. The cats always have clean litter with minimal work by me. I empty the bag in the litter drawer twice a week and clean out the robot entirely monthly. This is mechanical/electric device, so the first one was not without problems. I had to have the base fixed and ultimately replaced once outside of warranty. I replaced the motor and the sensors once. Youtube was great for that. Recently, I started bumping up to more issues. Do I fix or get new. Between you and me, after 6.5+ years of use... I needed a new one. I bought the same robot but a different color. I'm looking forward to less litter box work. :) I'm a happy camper.

I don't know what happened but early on it did spook our older cat. Maybe it cycled when she was on not sure. But bottom line waste of 800 dollars. Was hoping this would make the kitty toileting experience better but I was a fool. If you are thinking about purchasing this don't. Overpriced. We had it for a week, we have it boxed back up so if anyone wants one they can find it at our city dump. Also this unit had issues from the start. It did not cycle the litter as promised. Not sure if it ever worked without me and my wife pushing the cycle button.
