Litter-Robot – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

After using PetSafe products for about 17 years, I found myself needing a new litter box when my automatic one broke down. Unfortunately, I purchased four new litter boxes, and each one broke within just a few days. It was extremely discouraging, as the poor quality was apparent. That’s when I came across an advertisement for the Litter-Robot 4, and I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you—it was the best decision I could have made! This product is incredible, and the company behind it is just as impressive. The Litter-Robot 4 is not only one of the coolest pet products I’ve ever seen, but it also works unbelievably well. The best part? It’s whisper-quiet—you can’t even hear it run. It’s sleek and stylish, with a relatively small footprint, making it a great addition to any home. The waste drawer is large and discreetly placed, and the self-cleaning feature is a game-changer. My cats use it without issue, and it goes into cleaning mode automatically. The best thing is, I no longer have to scoop or clean the litter box manually—it does all the work for me! On the rare occasion I’ve needed assistance, the Support Team has been excellent. Wait times on the phone are reasonable, and the support staff are well-informed and able to answer any questions I’ve had. The product comes with a one-year warranty, but for just $100, you can extend it to three years—a fantastic deal for such a high-quality product. Yes, it’s an investment, but don’t let the expense deter you. The Litter-Robot 4 has been worth every penny. If you’re considering it, go for it—you won’t regret it!

Absolutely fantastic! My cats took to it straight away. I've had my robot for nearly a year. My cats have scratched thr liner within less that a week Whisker sent a new one out to my address. Fantastic company 5 🌟 from me. You get what you pay for i would never buy a cheaper robot nothing compares to litter robot 4

I just bought my second Litter-Robot. I bought my first on 3/16/18. I love this litter system. For 6+ years I had 2 cats, now only one. The cats always have clean litter with minimal work by me. I empty the bag in the litter drawer twice a week and clean out the robot entirely monthly. This is mechanical/electric device, so the first one was not without problems. I had to have the base fixed and ultimately replaced once outside of warranty. I replaced the motor and the sensors once. Youtube was great for that. Recently, I started bumping up to more issues. Do I fix or get new. Between you and me, after 6.5+ years of use... I needed a new one. I bought the same robot but a different color. I'm looking forward to less litter box work. :) I'm a happy camper.

The Litter Robot itself is definitely a useful gadget, as it does make keeping the litter box clean much easier and hands off. However there are a number of issues with it. First, the design of the opening is such that the cat really has to know to step in, turn around to face out, and then do their business. I've had more than one instance where the cat didn't turn around and the waste wound up on the step instead of inside the litter area. Second, you cannot use lightweight litter. I was using this type of litter and found that the clumps would stick to the side and not get dumped into the tray during the empty cycle. This is where my Customer Support comment comes in - I called Litter Robot Customer Support to describe the issue, and even sent a video per their request, and never heard back from them, I had to figure out the lightweight litter issue on my own. Third, the app really needs some refinement. It does track the waste drawer and whether the robot needs more litter, which is great. However their claim that it tracks "weight trends" is misleading. Yes, it tells you your cat's weight each time they use the litter box. However the weight trend display per cat is for 1 week only. How much difference are you going to see in 1 week? And the downloadable report is for 1 month only, and can't be filtered or sorted per cat. One of my cats was losing weight, but I had to mentally keep track of what was being reported in the app over time to realize it. The data needs to be kept longer than just one week for each cat. Also, the app lets you set up notifications for all kinds of things except the most important, which is when a cat is actually using the Litter Robot. If you are trying to check on your cat for problems such as diarrhea, it would helpful for the app to notify when the cat is using the Litter Robot so you know to go check. Instead there is only a notification after the Litter Robot has cycled. There are a bunch of other annoyances with this app (including difficulty tracking multiple cats with weights within a pound of each other) but the weight trend claim is what annoys me the most because it's one of the major reasons I chose the Litter Robot over other automated litter boxes. Fourth, know there are some cats that will just refuse to use the Litter Robot, which I think is related to the design of the opening. I have 3 cats - one uses the Litter Robot exclusively, the second uses it about half the time, and the third refuses to use it at all. I tried everything Litter Robot recommended, and wound up having to replace all the carpeting in my home because the 3rd cat just won't use it. So be prepared if you have multiple cats, this may not be the answer for all of them.

We bought this and both cats took to it straight away. Delivery was really quick. Unboxing was easy. Machine was a little bigger than I thought but every part has a function. Setting up was easy and all went according to plan. The app was great and easy to use. Unfortunately after about a week or so one cat went in and did its business, the machine was set for a 3 minute timer after the cat exited. Our other cat jumped in and was in there for a max of a minute and the machine started to turn with her still in. When she jumped out it instantly stopped. So the machine didn’t recognise the second cat had jumped in after the first. Unfortunately our cats wouldn’t go near it again so I had to return the machine. None of our cats were harmed just a bit stressed for a bit. Yes it’s a high end price for a toilet but seeing it in action when it worked was brill. Wouldn’t mark it down for the price as we had the option to purchase or not. I do want to say though that this could be a wonderful piece of kit. Maybe we got a dodgy one. The biggest saving grace for me, hence the 4 stars was the after care and customer service. Absolutely amazing. Thank you Whisker for the support with the return.
