I’ve been a Lightwave customer and user for a number of years. I’ve always found their kit relatively reliable. I recently added some Hue bulbs to my set up and wanted to integrate everything into the Lightwave app. I had some issues with the integration and decided to call the Helpdesk at Lightwave. I have to say that Euan at their Helpdesk was very happy to engage, understand my problem and then worked with his crew at Lightwave to resolve the issue for me and it was all done quickly. Delightful with the service. Thanks Euan.

As with another reviewer, I have to state that initially I was quite excited about getting the Lightwave products albeit they are quite expensive. I have invested quite a large sum in the products as part of a renovation project and now I find that as I'm activating the various devices, I can only use basic features and to use the full range of features, I must purchase a monthly/yearly subscription. A four gang dimmer costs approx. £200 and they then want you to pay an additional £80/year to use all of the inbuilt functions. The Lightwave App basically lets you see all the things you can't do and prompts you to upgrade to a subscription. If this device cost £50, then I could probably understand the Company wanting to earn through an additional subscription, but as they are very expensive to buy, I don't then expect to be held to ransom to be able to use all of the features. If I hadn't already invested a lot of money in this technology then I would look elsewhere as I believe there are comparable products that will work out much cheaper. I feel sad to be writing this review as I was very much looking forward to using this system in all it's glory.

The Lightwave equipment is of good quality and justifies its price. The information on the website is well thought out and I was able to send a link to the installation guide to my electrician who had no problems. I paid for the subscription service and was easily able to book an hour-long session with Roly from Lightwave Technical Support. The session was excellent: Roly talked me through the setup of the system, set up my switches, and explained the features and practical application.

We bought lots of Lightwave products and initially were very happy. But I must now right a review to warn others. Summary of issues: 1. Often impossible to buy parts due to stock issues. 2. Now charging £80 per year for key features. This is ridiculous when the initial outlay is so high. 3. Pricing has got out of hand - a £30 switch now being sold for £160. I really regret writing this negative review but what was a great company is now no longer. Please sort things out and get back to the greatness you once had.

I've been enjoying the products for a long time. Ran into a slight problem and the support was fast, friendly and effective! I'm back up and running and had a great experience with the customer service.
