We usually enjoy shopping at John Lewis, however on this occasion the ground to first floor escalators were out of action and the café (which has been going down hill steadily) hit rock bottom. Huge queues and little choice.

Placed an order for4 items arrived by 3 different carriers one by Evri time slot given was between 1400 hours &1600hours by 5.00 nothing phoned customer services explained she kept on telling me it had been delivered in the morning No that was the one from DPD nearly 30 mins later said she was listening I don’t think so .Parcel eventually arrived at quarter two seven guess what no Royal Mail returns label this is the third time this has happened ,oh dear me been a customer for over thirty years no wonder they have got problems was once upon a time number one for customer service no longer so so sad to see them going down hill like this .

Ordering iPad online was good. Also pleased at 2 year warranty. Arranged pickup at Eastbourne Waitrose also okay, but was a little concerned that I was not asked for order number or ID. My name only was sufficient for the package to be handed over.

Brilliant customer service at John Lewis (Oxford Street)). I needed a new phone ASAP. I had excellent, balanced, advice from the advisor, who was extremely patient as I made up my mind. Excellent customer service also from tech support. Unlike many other retailers, there was no “hard sell”. JL can’t be beaten in my experience.

My parcel came in 4 deliveries, 3 arrived and the shop (via Yodel) told me off for ordering such heavy items, he said he didn’t have the room to store parcels. I was not happy with his attitude. The 4th parcel was returned via yodel by the shop (not me) I had emails and texts to say I hadn’t collected my parcel and it would be returned, this was not the case, I was waiting for my parcel. I contacted John Lewis by phone and was assured my parcel would arrive, it didn’t, I re contacted John Lewis who agreed to resend to my home. I didn’t like the note that said it was a goodwill gesture to not charge postage and I had to wait 3 weeks for a next day order. So I would welcome contact to discuss. The actual products I am very pleased with.
