Disgraceful customer service and dam right rude staff. To be honest, I’m quite honestly shocked by how I was treated today during my visit to Selfridges. From the moment I walked in I was being judged and stared at. It’s very clear they base their opinions of customers based on how they dress and look. The entire time I was followed around by 6 security guards, stared at by every single member of staff and completely ignored by everyone staff member but ONE. They didn’t once acknowledge me when I tried speaking to them and one even had the cheek to say to her friend “I didn’t look like I could afford it” when asking about perfume. Quite honestly disgusted by how I’ve been treated and will not be returning again. The one member of staff who did acknowledge me was so lovely and polite but sadly the other 30+ staff member have completely ruined my experience and the star rating. They seriously need a lesson in customer service and learn how to treat customers because the way I was treated was disgraceful and completely unacceptable

Unfortunately, my parcel was left in poor conditions by the DPD driver, resulting in damage to my package. When I reached out to customer service, I was disappointed by the initial response from the adviser, as it seemed like she did not care about my issue. As a long-time customer of Harrods, I was very disappointed by this lack of customer service. I refused to let the matter go and contacted again requesting Michael Ward's office to express my concerns about the situation. After my complaint was escalated, I was contacted by a supervisor named Devanyel. While I initially felt that he may not have been taking the matter seriously, he was eventually able to resolve the issue in a professional and satisfactory manner, which has restored my faith in Harrods. I appreciate the efforts made by Devanyel and want to thank him for his help. Despite this initial issue, I will continue to shop at Harrods in the future and look forward to better experiences.
