Gilt Tracking Order Status

I do not recommend, you are better off ordering design items from Nordstrom or Saks. Poor quality on design items and not easy to return. Don't waste your money

I've been shopping at Gilt for several years. Recently, I ordered a pair of Tod's shoes and they were fake replicas. I wrote to Gilt letting them know and to escalate this message in hopes that this will improve their operations. Instead, I got messages that will not admit responsibility and kept stating that their products are 100% genuine. So, I no longer trust their products and will stop shopping on their site. On a more minor scale, I've purchased items that were defective and the defect was not disclosed. They did not let me return because it was sold as non-refundable.

The Merchandise is always good. Easy to return for credit. They take 10 bucks out for refund. Not an issue. The thing I HATE is that it takes weeks sometimes 3 or more to receive orders. I ordered 3 pairs of underwear 3 weeks ago. So do not order anything for an event because it won't come in time. Give it 6 weeks lead time. I order a lot but I have to keep a list so that I remember how long ago I ordered. It is annoying. A lot of the things I can find on Bluefly or Amazon and they ship wayyyy faster. I reached out to customer service and they said that's just the way it is. Keeps me from buying more. So stupid. Figure it out Gilt!

The site has been down a lot recently. This is my principal complaint. Took time to read what others are saying, and prompted to give my feedback. Been a customer for over 5 years. Bought a lot of good quality items over the years spending well into 4-figures over the span. Sign up for annual flat-fee shipping. Great return policy, and have used it! Did I mention products purchased are high-quality. In my experience, GILT is only short of excellent because the damn site is often down, when I have time to shop!!
