FFX Tracking Order Status

I do like FFX and I don’t shop with anyone else for tools etc. I’ve spent many thousands this year and to be frank, there has been problems with every order. Credit where due, FFX do their best to help sort the problems out but in my case they have caused huge inconvenience. Problems range from products not being in stock when they are shown in stock, to expensive items ‘disappearing’ with the delivery company. When they disappear we have to jump through hoops to prove our innocence and wait ages for a replacement (in one case we had to drive several hours to their warehouse to collect a replacement). This review is 2 stars because I’m fed up with FFX and Paslode. I’ve tried to leave a product review on the FFX site but can’t find out how, even using their chat facility couldn’t help. I have Paslode nail guns that can only use ridiculously expensive Paslode nails, in some cases 3 times the price of similar quality nails from FFX themselves. Every time I order nails they arrive with the boxes they come in torn to pieces! Despite the cost of the nails, Paslode doesn’t see fit to package them in a way that they can be transported any distance. I currently have nearly 20,000 nails with no packaging which leads to them getting damaged. I will have to buy plastic boxes (which come as standard on the cheap nails from everyone else). Come on Paslode, if you’re going to gouge your customers on nails, at least pack them properly! And FYI these nails cost £1000 to buy so this is no trivial complaint. It would actually be far cheaper to dump the Paslode guns and buy cheaper nails elsewhere- surely that is self defeating for FFX and Paslode!

Given the rating on Trustpilot I was expecting good service, but not to be. I placed an order on Monday morning and was given an ETA for delivery on the Thursday. Thursday came and went, no delivery, no email notification. I emailed Friday morning to find out what happened and didn't get a reply till 5pm Friday, saying they didn't know, would contact the warehouse. Monday and still nothing so I called, and was told they didn't know why it hadn't shipped. Seems like customer service don't talk to the warehouse. Had to call again to find out that it was finally going to ship on Tuesday and eventually arrived on Friday, 11 days after ordering. Communication was terrible, service poor, but two stars because it did eventually arrive in good condition. Won't use again. (Order ref 4051952).

Goods damaged in transit. Did not arrive next and returns and processing took far to long. Still not completed as I phoned up each day to check as I wanted a replacement not a refund.picked up by courier Tuesday. Still not sorted by Friday as I wanted as going away Saturday. They had evidence that the table saw had been picked up on Tuesday but could not despatch another replacement prior to me going away, policy not till the faulty item had been processed by them. Not the usual great customer service you expect. Had to alter my jobs to try to accommodate the table saw not arriving on time and in workable condition.
