Last Evans UK Reviews from Trustpilot

Whilst the clothes are great. I have to say the delivery is absolutely terrible. I will have to think twice before using the delivery service again.

Be prepared for a long wait for delivery.

WOW like many others I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I just checked on my order as I hadn't had any notifications. I saw my order was "in Fulfillment" Nothing more was written , just that. I now see that I could be in for a considerable wait for my order. Here's an idea Evans why not work at getting your orders and deliveries sorted out quickly for your customers so you won't have to keep replying with those repetitive generic answers. I'm expecting to have to wait for my order or for some other issue to come up. Though I would much rather see movement on my order, followed by a trouble free delivery.

I ordered on the 27th April and am still waiting to be told even a time window on when to expect my order. It's been in fulfillment every day since then. I have repeatedly messaged their helpline and have been repeatedly told they would look into it and email me back.... I'm still waiting for them to do so. Update: 5th May Dear Evans representative, Thank you for your recent email letting me know that my order has now been shipped, complete with Evri tracking number. I am so very pleased for the great peace of mind this news has given me. Thanking you and the help center employee's today, for helping to resolving my issue. Sincerely, Heather

Update: 7th May- tracking information now shows that my parcel is on its way back to the sender. At no point was it ever available for me to collect. 8th May- I have an email confirming that my refund has been processed. To be fair to Evans that's pretty quick. However overall I feel my experience has been poor. I ended up sending Evans a number of angry emails, some of my interactions with their customer service agents on chat really pushed my buttons, and I do think that they should, in terms of company policy, be more forthcoming with refunds. A very sorry saga in which Evans took six days to despatch my order, I was then going to be away so I asked them to hold the parcel at the warehouse, they were unable to, I got it rerouted to a Parcelshop, Evri claimed to have delivered it to the Parcelshop a week ago, and the Parcelshop does not have it. Evans are currently refusing to give me a refund in circumstances where I feel their competitors would be happy to do so (particularly since it's for a sum under £20). The information I've emailed as a complaint to them is set out below: On 21st April I get a notification from Evans saying my order has been despatched. I ask Evans to hold the parcel. Evans are unable to do this. Subsequently, when Evri confirms they have the parcel, I redirect it to my local Parcelshop. On 27th April I get an email from Evri saying my parcel is ready for collection and I have until 7th May to collect it. On 2nd May I get a reminder email from Evri saying my parcel is ready for collection and I have until 9th May to collect it. Today, 4th May, I go to the Parcelshop and they have absolutely no record of receiving the parcel. The Evri courier has also just been to deliver and check parcels. The tracking information for the parcel now ludicrously states that Evri were unable to deliver. This is despite the Parcelshop being a Tesco, which was open for business, and Tesco staff's report to me that Evri had delivered for the day. Today, 4th May, the Evans customer service agent steadfastly refuses to refund me £12.50. They say an investigation will have to be raised. They try to avoid as far as possible any confirmation of a refund at any point in the future. They doggedly maintain that Evri tried to deliver and that the parcel isn't marked as lost. They say that after two and a half weeks the parcel will be returned to Evans and then I'll receive a refund. They do not want to address the question of what happens if the parcel is neither delivered to the Parcelshop nor returned to Evans. They speak of "a resolution" in those circumstances in the form of a gift or store credit. I remind them that Evans are legally obliged to offer a refund. They will not admit that early next week, if the parcel remains missing (undelivered, unreturned) Evans needs to offer a refund.
