I ordered a mini-split. They recommended an accessory part that did not go with my system. When I went to return it, they said "We recommend you try to sell it locally". I said I wanted to return it, so they said OK, but there will be a restocking fee. Annoying, but bearable. They send my refund check, which clearly says "Not valid after 90 days". So, I deposit it after 65 days and it bounces and I get hit with a fee by my bank, who tells me there were "insufficient funds". I contact customer support and they say "Accounting canceled the check because it wasn't cashed within 60 days. And, we won't reimburse your bank charge." Ridiculous. Either print "Not valid after 60 days on the check" or honor it for 90 days ... don't say one thing and do another. That whole experience will make me much less likely to order from them in the future, because it feels like a shady operation. If you spend $7,000 and get hassled over $60 return, that's not very good customer experience.

Wow. Kinda surprised at the negative reviews. I placed a complex order for mini splits to include all installation parts etc. They kept me informed, shipped what they had immediately and have thus far honored their promise of excellent service. I had a linseed damaged in transit and they are processing a replacement. I have called for updates etc and they have always answered. Emails are quickly answered.

I've been buying products from eComfort for several years, including 4 mini-split heat pumps. Their website has a wealth of good information, they've got a wide range of products and their prices are good. I recently had a problem with a product and to me how a company responds when there is an issue is the real test. I was extremely impressed with eComfort's support and follow through. You can get a real person on the line and they will actually do what they can to help. In this case, I needed a warranty part. They approved the request within 24 hours and expedited shipment of the part. They've definitely earned my business.

I bought a Goodman AC condenser from eComfort. It is a scratched and dents unit with a great discount! The sales woman Michelle EXT 221 was very helpful in the intial ordering. Other service reps were also very polite and reachable when I encountered shipping problems (more on this later). When I eventually received the shipment, the scratches and dents are minimum, not visible from 10 ft away. It is indeed fully functional. The only problem, which is the reason I didn't give them 5 stars, is related to the shipping, which is really not eComfort's fault except that the carrier was hired by eComfort. The carrier, which is R+L Carriers, lost the shipment somewhere in the route. But because of their poor information system and process, the people who make appointments with customers don't know that until the delivery driver can't find the item. They stood me up for 3 appointments until they finally located the item. Eventually, it was delivered. I would recommend that eComfort reevaluate their shipping partners. Reddaway is a much better choice in my experience.

I placed a large order for a multizone minisplit system. I was told some of the items were back ordered until 7/8/20 which I understood. I still have not received the entire order yet! I just called and was on hold over 30 minutes to be told that the manufacturer has delayed shipment and I should not expect the completion of my order until 9/11/20! This was never explained as a possibility when I ordered this item. Representatives are very nice and helpful over the phone, but the uncertainty of shipping times is unacceptable. So far, not having a good experience with this company.
