Crown & Caliber Tracking Order Status

Communication is little or nonexistent! They consistently give you a phone number to call, and when you call the number it's in-operational. I've purchase twice before the merger and I'd give C&C 5 stars. The new merged company is 2 stars at best. I purchased my 3rd choice of watch as my first two options sold going through the trade-in process. In the past, once the deal started the desired watch was linked to the trade in. Now there is no link and the odds of the watch you wanted being available are slim and none. Also, they promised to return a watch strap that was included in the trade-in but after 4 emails to date; there has been absolutely no response from customer service.

Good Morning, I recently purchased a Rolex thru C&C. The experience was fantastic. So I enjoyed it for a year and figured , let me sell it and possibly buy another. The buyback process started 6/13 and here it is 7/11, and I have no check for my timepiece and so far all I am getting is the runaround. I paid for my watch Instantly and they are taking their sweet time to pay me. Hopefully I wont get screwed.

I had sold my Breitling Avenger GMT to this site recently (within the past 2 months) and have done transactions with them in the past. Since the Hoodinkee take over I find this site had taken a dive in quality of service. This lastest transaction selling my watch will likely be my last with this group. There was constant miscommunications between their customer support and accounting which led to a delay first getting the watch (customs delay though not their fault) and more importantly there was a delay in getting my funds for the watch for the agreed upon price. Things like this are NOT how you instil trust in your brand. Hopefully this will improve in the future but for now I will be going with other 3rd party watch dealers to buy and sell my watches.

C&C is just okay. I bought a submariner (114060) from them and the price was fair and I loved their youtube content and hodinkee just teamed up with them so I was expecting good things. I was surprised however when the customer support and attention to detail was lacking. Its very common practice for online watch dealers to size the bracelet before sending out the watch, especially on a very expensive purchase, they however refuse to do that for "logistical issues" and told me to go to the Rolex dealer in person... when there is a global pandemic risking my health and for my family. I have bought from other watch dealers before such as DavidSW, and the attention to detail they bring to the purchase end to end is superior. When the watch arrived it had a ton of extremely sticky stickers on the watch as well, which left an awful residue on the watch, and I had to wash the watch immediately. From my experiences, great businesses have two things in common. 1.) An extreme over the top care for the customer, and making sure the customer is happy. 2.) A relentless deep obsessive nature for the details in the products they produce or sell. C&C lacks in both categories. It's so unfortunate because their online presence and youtube channel is fantastic. I love the watch, but this will be my last purchase from them unfortunately.

I have bought two watches ( Rolex Datejust, Tag Heuer Carrera ) from Crown & Caliber, and couldn't be happier with both experiences! They offer fast professional service and are one of the most trusted dealers in the game. I will be buying from them for many years to come!
