Pathetic company

Pathetic company, fast and free delivery however the moment you need to send something back they make your life as hard as possible. Email add provided on the website doesn't work, once getting through to them via social media staff take days to respond to any emails sent. You have 14 days to send items back (at your own cost) which is poor as most online retailers allow approx 28days. Would NOT use the company again, too much hassle.

Excellent customer service

Ordered a light which arrived within 48 hours of ordering it. Unfortunately it was broken. Customer services responded immediately to my email. Sent an apology and a returns label the very next morning (I’d emailed in the evening) and within days I’d received a PayPal refund. Sometimes it’s the way a company handles a complaint that can mean all the difference. 3 stars for the product but 5 stars for customer service.

Won’t be shopping with BHS again

Ordered a bathroom light but when I received it I decided it wasn’t as nice as I thought it was going to be. There was no return slip in the box or instructions on how to return it if it wasn’t suitable, damaged etc like you would get normally with an online purchase. I ended up having to email as I cannot hear on the phone. I was told that if I wanted a return it would cos £8.95 for a courier!! Alternatively I could send it by Royal Mail at my own cost. Shocking service and wouldn’t use again.

I ordered a chandelier worth of £130…

I ordered a chandelier worth of £130 with 24-48HRs delivery. Royal Mail notified me that they delivered the item a couple of days after my order. But I didn't received anything, neither my neighbors. I opened a case with Royal Mail but they said they can't find out what happened because it was during a time when they were not collecting signatures due to covid. I then called BHS customer service to let them know about the situation and request a refund since I never received their product. They said that they would have to also ask Royal Mail what happened even though I had told them Royal Mail's response and gave them the case number I opened with them. They said they would contact me back, it's been weeks nut I no one contacted me. I still don't have my light fittings neither my £130. Please contact me as soon as possible. My order number was: 000018040 Edit: After more back and forth, I received my refund so I will change my 1 star to 3 stars

Not great products

I ordered a bathroom light from BHS, when it arrived it was evident that it was not brand new and someone had already used it. They were quick to swap it over for a new one. The new one only had 2 bulbs out of 5 working, I changed the bulbs to see if this was the fault but still not working so there is a fault with the light itself!
