wrong order

I ordered roses from Avas Flowers recently. I asked for 6 long stem roses in a bouquet w/ Baby's Breath in clear plastic. I ordered two of these for the price finally of $104. the initial price was $150. The woman asked if I wanted the roses in a vase to which I said no..I want 6 longstem roses in clear wrapping. I repeated this 3 times. I also asked for it to be delivered to a theater where I would greet them at 6:00 pm...I was notified by text that they were delivered at 4:45, so I rushed over to the theatre to see if they were okay. When I arrived I found the 2 orders. But rather than 6 longstem roses, I found only 3 short roses w/ babies breath cut very short so they would be supported in the vase. It included baby's breath. This was a big surprise and huge disappointment. I could not give these as a longstem rose bouquet to the two performers on stage. What I recieved so small as it was cut off to maybe 6". This was after I repeated 3 times no not the vase...longstem in a bouquet.

Seems that I am not the only one have…

Seems that I am not the only one have issues with this company. Got email said we can't fill the order u requested please call. It took me for ever. I kept getting we lost u on the line. Then when I did was offered 50% refund. To say the least any company that offers a 50% refund u shouldn't really deal with. After about what seemed be forever on the phone they finally are giving me a full refund. Which I yet to receive

Product Not As Advertised

Well in advance of Mother's Day (2 weeks) ordered some flowers for mom. I received multiple emails, SMS saying there was a "problem with my order". So I called them up (internationally, mind you) to figure out what was wrong and the lady said "Oh, never mind, everything is OK with your order". I proceeded to have daily SMS/Emails for the following week saying there were issues and I simply ignored because of all the spam. Flowers sent (and paid well for) were not what I ordered.

Quality of arrangement did not match the photo advertised at all.

The flower arrangement delivered did not look any where near as nice as the one pictured on the website. I paid for the one to match the size as shown in the photo. I am embarrassed by what was delivered to my mom. UPDATE: After a 40 minute phone call and various options to remedy the situation, they did refund my money. I would have preferred the bouquet pictured get delivered to my mom, but I do understand the crunch now that we are at Mother’s Day weekend. I improved my rating slightly. Another update after’s Ava’s Flowers response: In their response, Ava’s mentions that an affiliate shop made the arrangement. When I searched on the internet for local shops, Ava’s flowers appeared at the top of the list. I now know to investigate more carefully. As they are not local. Yes, they did refund my full amount, and I am thankful for that. This was after several unacceptable options and a 40 minute phone call.

Screwed up three times

I ordered a flower arrangement for my wife for our 40th wedding anniversary. I wanted it special, so I asked for it to be made with sunflowers (her favorite) and wrap the vase in burlap with a ribbon to make it more country themed. I also added two balloons. I specified a morning delivery three days in advance because we were going out of town the afternoon of the scheduled delivery. The flowers did not come by the time we left, so I called Avas and after all the apologies we agreed to delay the delivery to the day after we returned. When it arrived, the arrangement was not wrapped in burlap, no ribbon and half the sunflowers were wilted. I called Avas and once again after all the apologies I was told the florist would do it correctly this time but they wanted the old arrangement back. Of course we agreed, but asked that the florist give us a one hour window so that we can be sure that someone is home to accept delivery and do the swap, we gave them our mobile number so the call would not be missed. They never called to let us know they were coming and when my wife arrived home after a short 30 minute errand, they came unannounced and just left the arrangement on the side porch. Once again it was done totally wrong, we had a ribbon this time but no burlap, plain looking vase and certainly not worth the $116.00 price tag. I realize that Avas is just the middleman here BUT it ends up being their responsibility too because they need to do business with competent florists. I am sure Avas will reply, but I refuse to have the flowers re-done for a third time. Think I’ll just stick to giving gift cards from now on. Very very disappointed.
