Arhaus Tracking Order Status

Wife found Arhaus store in Timonium Md. which is closest to York, PA. After much searching for bedroom furniture wifey found a highboy dresser and night stands in the color and style she liked. The price, even though it was on sale, by comparison for this obvious foreign made furniture was still extremely expensive. Our in store experience was positive, salesperson was knowledgeable enough and helpful. They had a zero finance plan for 2 years that made the extremely high price more palatable until our Bitcoin catches up to pay it off. My 47 year career background owning and running a kitchen and bath business, I know about cabinetry construction manufacturing and quality. Here is where it gets interesting...... We placed our order in April, our furniture was manufactured in June, it was delivered in November..guess we had to wait for the container to be shipped from who knows where? Regardless, we had the pieces delivered and the delivery process was by all means was a great experience. We tipped the chaps who delivered it as the pieces, get this...ready?? weighed a combined weight between 2 night stands and highboy dresser, 675lbs!!! Yes you heard me, 675lbs!! Our main bedroom on the second floor was being renovated and we were unable to have them place it there so we stored these pieces in a first floor room. I thought to myself, how on earth am I going to get these pieces to the 2nd floor when the time comes? Well, the time has come to move them, common sense says, first take the drawers out, correct? I did that, took some discovery as the slow-close slides need unscrewed to release the drawers...no big deal. I did the night stands first, this is when I found the reason the friggin' items weigh so much.. Get this there is a full 1" thick slab of granite boxed in plywood the full size of the back panels screwed and glued into the nightstands and highboy to give it that "EXPENSIVE FEEL"! Come on people.. is that necessary? That is deceptive advertising in my book........So, I took the friggin' slabs out just so I could move the pieces. Still took 2 strong individuals lots of grunting and moaning to move them. The furniture pieces in all are fair quality even without the slabs of stone glued into it to make it super heavy and "FEEL" expensive......it's definitely not necessary. Time will tell to see if these pieces hold up but I hope I never have to move them again!

My experience was very pleasant. The product specialist that helped me select and place my order was wonderful at the International Mall in Tampa. The communication leading up to my delivery was proactive and timely. Then my delivery went smooth as silk. I had a great experience and I love the Kipton sectional that I now have in my home. I saw many negative reviews but mine was great. I would gladly recommend Arhaus to my closest friends and family.

The Arhaus delivery service team is very polite and helpful. They carried four bar stools into our house, each time putting on shoe covers before entering. They also advised us on the specific chair leg protectors for these stools to protect the chairs and our floors. Super helpful.

I was completely surprised by the lack of quality and follow up customer service I received on my most recent Arhaus acquisition . I purchased the Hampton outdoor dining table (grey) in June. Within three days, it started to bubble and the the grey finish flaked off. I had initially assumed the finish was through and through, but apparently it’s a layer of finish that is applied. I contacted customer service and initially they were willing to replace no problem. However, when it was discovered that there my table was not in stock, that’s when the headaches began. I had agreed to accept the same table, but in the natural tone finish, thinking that perhaps that would be better in this case to prevent any kind of flaking. They were willing to make that swap, but we’re going to charge me an extra $1800 because the natural tone was more expensive and the sale that I purchased it under Had ended. I asked the problem to The corporate operations manager. He stood by the price differential staying that the natural tone was considered a different collection. Refusing to accept their resolution, he escalated to the VP of product development and quality. She granted him special dispensation to make the exchange at no additional cost to me. Arhaus generally has a reputation for extremely well-made furniture and good customer service. This experience proved to be quite the opposite.

I purchased several pieces of furniture from Arhaus. I had a problem with the marble table. They replaced 3 times without any problems. Great customer service. I definitely will go back to this store. Theresa
