American Giant Tracking Order Status

I order clothing and what I order arrives in reasonable time. I feel bad for all of these people reporting negative experiences, but those reviews do not reflect the company I’ve been ordering from for the last few years. I’ve ordered a few hoodies and pairs of sweatpants for myself and a few more hoodies as gifts for others. Items have always arrived within the projected time- even during this past holiday season. The quality is great- nice, sturdy fabrics with excellent stitch work. It’s good to know that my money is going to domestic labor. Also, the sweatpants I just received came in a large paper package instead of plastic. NICE!

Zip up hoodie delivered as described! Not the fastest shipping, approximately 10 days and luckily I like the sweatshirt so I didn’t have to interact with customer service but hoodie is great quality.

I’d like to say that while they shipped the incorrect order at first, and their traditional shipping is not very good. And after a couple of weeks of radio silence, they did finally reach back out to me and confirm they’d ship the correct order and it arrived 3 days later. Very high quality items, I ended up ordering more

EDIT TO ADD: Once I contacted them a few times and waited longer than the identified 2 day wait time, they were responsive and I received my order. Wish I would have read bad reviews of this company before ordering. I’m approaching three weeks out from my order with no update to tracking info and no response from the customer service team following my request for a status update. Disappointing.

I have been a long time fan and customer of American Giant, having ordered many times over the last several years. I am incredibly disappointed that this company has fallen like many other performance wear companies ie. Lululemon, Hylete, etc. I can no longer extend business to this organization, because it seems although they still carry the name "American Giant" and keep touting the "Made in America" marketing line, they are behaving like a company who has all but outsourced everything overseas, particularly their customer service (or lack thereof). I placed a LARGE order on July 25 for multiple items, in both the mens and womens product line and, while they were happy to immediately take my money, they failed to either send and/or communicate to me the disposition of my order for FOUR WEEKS! There is something very wrong LOGISTICALLY when the company takes your order, money, fails to send the products, and then sends you an email asking how you like the products they never sent you and then to RATE them. Wildly ironic. Unprofessional and another example of fall out from post COVID-19 business strategy to recover from their losses. To add insult to injury, they have commissioned an offshore organization to handle customer service inquiries staffed by individuals who have a zero command of english. Read the following: "Hi Troy, Thank you for reaching out to us at American Giant. We deeply apologize for any hassle in this matter but all of our order moving toward Hawaii are being majorly delayed at this team. We can to do our best to get the order to you or we can cancel the purchase. Please advise how you would like to proceed. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Best, Rashod" Very sad I will no longer be shopping here, because American Giant has great products when you actually get them in your possession.
