Customer service in Boca Raton office sub par I have had ADT for many years. Had a few issues, but this year they increased. I had a technician scheduled, didn't show up because he was never scheduled, as I later found out. I asked for the technician Brandon, who did great work and a provides great customer service, again another scheduled time for him...same thing occurred. Spoke to a manager, Marcus in Boca Raton, who definitely requires more customer service training. Spoke over me and was rude. After this occurred more than once (conversations with Marcus), my cost per month for service was increased. Retaliation? I have read many reviews on other review sites, mainly about the lack of customer service from the phone numbers to call online. Marcus won't share who is his supervisor!? Do I need to buy ADT stock to be heard and treated with respect? I gave 2 stars for Marcus, but the technician Brandon would receive 5

ADT reached out today and reversed the charges, after I posted the below review. Try this email address if you have any customer service issues: BIG NEWS! 24 hours after I contacted the BBB and posted a review on Trustpilot, my $90.35 "termination fee" was reversed. Thanks to the USA based ADT customer service team who helped. If you are having issues, try sending an email to alwaysthere@ adt.com I am being ripped off my ADT no more! Company claimed I signed a contract I did not sign. They then said it was verbal, but can not produce a WAV.file proving the call ever existed. They hang up on me and keep charging a cancellation fee that does not exist. Thanks for 35 years of service.

We have been a customer of ADT since 1998. We had a couple of bumps along the way, but they ALWAYS fixed the problem very professionally. Their service has always been supportive of our security needs. I don't know what happened! But this is not the case today. They are getting a 2 star because of charges that we paid since 2022, for a product and service that we never received. I discovered this upon trying to get additional equipment for our home. After several calls and two case numbers, I spoke with a representative named Katoya, who offered to lower our bill without affecting the ongoing case, by adding us to a 3-year contract. We didn't mind because the new equipment that we were to order, would put us under a new contract anyway. HOWEVER Katoya, cancelled our ongoing case without telling us and made a false note in our file, that we agreed to what she was doing. While on the phone she guaranteed me that she would not touch the case and what she was doing would not have any effect on it. NOW ADT is refusing to acknowledge that we paid over $300.00 for video services that we never had. This is not the ADT that we have dealt with for over 27 years!!! We've also been told several times that we would get a call from their Back Office, which we have not receive. Even after us making 3 attempts to get this resolved, I feel that others should know. ADT is just not the company that we thought they were. We don't see how we can trust a security company that supports their representative's deceitful practices! However, we are hopeful that ADT can show us that they are the company that we always thought they were. Stay tuned...

Recently converted from Pulse system to Command system. Always had excellent experience with ADT until after installation, was informed my new Google cameras would not appear on Command app or panel as only appear on separate Google home app.kinda defeats the purpose plus they could have installed compatible cameras.

To be honest, the system never really worked perfectly. The smoke detector sets off the alarm when you boil water sometimes. The panel is installed next to a stairwell and sets off the tampering alarm when you walk up the stairs. The door lock works every once in awhile and then it doesn't again. Paying 64 bucks per month for this is a ripoff I think. They have since contacted me and remedied the problem. I appreciate the effort from their side.
