Before getting into Ableton, I used the FL Studio sequencer for a while. After I figured it out a little here, I decided that I would work in it. I only tried the light version that came with the Akai midi device. Then the suit. I liked the interface of the program, and the fact that the eyes do not run up when entering the program, everything is very well distributed, and you can set only those settings that you need. Perhaps this influenced my choice towards Ableton.

I recently bought the Standard 11 package worth €349,00 in June of last year, and then separately bought some instruments software such as pulsion, operator and others, worth €300,00, before realising that there was an upgrade feature to Suite 11, which is worth €285,00 and offers all the instruments I bought - and much more! Hence, I contacted with the customer service of Ableton and kindly asked them to upgrade me since I had spent more than the upgrade. They were simply incapable of doing this basic customer gesture... Honestly, while I told them and have no problem admitting I should have paid more attention to the upgrade packages rather than buying features individually, I have way higher/better expectations from a service when I spent €650,00... Anyway, beware when you buy individual features, it can cost you quite more, for way less!

No support to speak of. Online form is inactive, seemingly no phone support, and a contact@ email address seems to go into the ether. With an application this deep, users need support - pretty standard tenet of being a software developer. Great software tho.

Great software, but bad experience with Customer support (many times). They are very slow and they don't take the time to read your e-mail properly, and they don't do the extra effort to follow-up with you. I am reluctant to upgrade to Live 11
