Before getting into Ableton, I used the FL Studio sequencer for a while. After I figured it out a little here, I decided that I would work in it. I only tried the light version that came with the Akai midi device. Then the suit. I liked the interface of the program, and the fact that the eyes do not run up when entering the program, everything is very well distributed, and you can set only those settings that you need. Perhaps this influenced my choice towards Ableton.

My friend bought me Ableton 4.5 years ago and I downloaded it through a log-in he created and never thought about it again as it was mine, secure on my laptop. Then foolish me tried to format a usb and ended up formatting my hard drive (head butt wall). Fortunately a good friend reformatted my hard drive but I lost everything except some sound clips and photos. As I couldn’t remember the username or password that was set up 4.5 years ago I couldn’t access the license to re-download Ableton. I contacted their support team who heard my plight and, despite it being a peculiar situation, were able to help me locate the licence and move it from the forgotten account to my personal one. Can’t thank them enough.

Ableton became my DAW of choice since I saw it in tutorials on YouTube. I had the opportunity to buy it 6 months ago and I assure you it was completely worth it. 100% recommended
