I'm going to buck the trend. I wanted some jack parts from Safe Jack but their website said that (due to COVID) expect at least a 3-week delay. 4wd.com listed the items on their website with no mention of 'backordered' etc so I assumed (wrongly) that they had them and placed my order on 7/11. Credit card immediately charged then 2 days later I get an e-mail saying that "The items are currently on order from the manufacturer.". Great - their website wasn't 100% honest. I e-mail'ed them asking what I might expect in terms of delay. Days went by with no reply, which lead me to seek out reviews. Found these review here and wished I'd checked before ordering. HOWEVER, a few days later 4wd.com did respond to my e-mail, and just yesterday - exactly 3 weeks to the date I placed my order - the items arrived. I think the company could be more upfront on their website about what they have in the inventory vs. what they have to order from their suppliers. They could also be more prompt about responding to e-mail inquires. And the 'check order status' page on their website is totaly BS (at least for me). Even though I've now received 100% of my order, their website still says 'Your order is being processed' - LOL

Placed an order at the beginning of May for a Smittybilt rear locking drawer and still haven’t received it. Can’t get anyone on the phone and no reply to email. I’ve bought from them in the past with no issues, so not sure what has happened. Update: I was never able to get anyone on the phone, so I used the contact link on the website asking to cancel my order. I received an email saying my request had been assigned to a specific associate and I never heard anything from them. 30ish days after my order, I received the drawer even though I had requested cancellation many days before. The lack of contact is a little astonishing.

4WD,com is not a scam, but the suck at communicating with their customers. My guess, they are just not prepared to sell in a national market. I ordered SUMU SPRINGS for a customers project. Price was the same at most sites but they offered Cash Back through Rakuten. The parts arrived directly from the manufacturer 2 1/2 weeks after the order was placed. My issue is that the web site never updated and they ignored multiple email requests from me. I actually went to a different vendor to meet my customers deadline. I'll sit on these or resell as new in box locally. FYI 4WD.com..it only takes a minuet to respond. Your failure is loosing you business, answer your customers
