zenfolio – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Terribly slow uploading images. Can only upload a minimal amount. Which at times may take as long as an hour to load! They say it's my wifi. No it isn't because the university I've worked as university photographer for 28 years uses Smug Mug and the difference is no comparison. Another huge problem is trying to move images around in the edit. Select image(s) and begin to drag to the space I want and the page begins to scroll down on its own! It's impossible to move images without a fight! And after the third time if I grab an image to move it gets stuck on the curser! I mean really stuck. It WILL NOT disengage. I have to shut down the folder and start over. I had planned to migrate to another website so I email Zenfolio to change my yearly plan to monthly but they deducted my account for the year anyway! I'm really disappointed with everything about this website. My site is so messed up now that I don't know how to fix it unless I literally sit down for hours and start over.

Zenfolio has been the subject of customer complaints regarding slow performance for at least a decade, with nothing from their customer service group but "it must be your browser, it must be your ISP, it must be somebody else's fault, I'll notify our engineers." It is probably worth noting that Zenfolio closed down their own user forums. I would hazard a guess that this was done because there was nothing posted on them but complaints about slow performance.

Having used Zenfolio a few years ago, but not enjoying the experience I was a bit reluctant to look at them again for my new website. However the new platform really impressed me, and I've been very happy with the service over the last few months and ended up paying for a subscription when my free trial finished. The product isn't perfect, but better than the alternatives for my requirements. I've also found their support team to be really helpful and responsive, and I'm confident that they will work to keep improving the product based on customer feedback.

I just launched my new photography website with Zenfolio. It was so easy to set up and it looks amazing. Everything looks very professional. I can't wait for my clients to see their galleries. Happy Happy Happy customer!

I've used it for a few years and I'm pretty happy with it. My website looks really nice and showcases my photos well. It's lacking some customization options, but overall I really do like it.
