I've used Vornado products for years and always been happy with their performance, service, and warranty - HOWEVER my heater recently broke and after reporting the issue I was told they were no longer replacing units for customers here. But they would send me a check for the amount I paid for the unit instead. I was required to cut the cord on the heater, send them a photo and my receipt from purchase and they would send me a check for the amount I paid. I did this, purchased a replacement heater myself, and waited for them to send me a check. I arrived but it was not for the amount promised, not for the amount I paid for the unit when I bought it from Amazon, instead it was for a smaller amount. I reported the error to them in the same conversation by email and they have not replied to my message at all. Hopefully they will reply, correct this, and I can update this review. After this negative experience overall it feels like something fundamental has changed, something happened to Vornado, this is not the company it used to be. No longer a reliable company the way it used to be. In the future I will no longer be buying their products or recommending them to others. They used to be the gold standard for fans, with a great warranty, and excellent service. But no longer, sadly. Re: Warranty request OCC/RA-123937 Update: It's been weeks since I contacted them to tell them that they did send me the promised amount. No reply at all. They lied about what they would do, and then they haven't replied when I reported it. I would not trust this company under any circumstance.

After a defective product, I filed a claim for a replacement product. After I submitted my photos of the product on an online portal, cut the cord and shipped to the address they provided to me, I heard nothing. When I followed up, they said they didn't provide me a shipping label or receive any of my photos. Well.. to no fault of my own, I'm out a steamer and no one seems to be able to help me. Horrible customer service policies and a claim service process.

I use one in my bedroom. We wanted something that would circulate well so we didn’t have to bump the ac for the entire house down to low for when we sleep. It pushes air HARD and cold and feels great . Worth the money for all of you Eskimo sleepers out there
