Sturdy construction and just about break proof. My product arrived without a scratch or blemish. Along with the glass mat, I received a small selection of silicone bumper nubs for use as padding and anti slippage. I used the size meant for plush carpet. Works very well, the mat never moves and the silicone bumpers are almost unnoticeable. If you are in need of a chair mat for the home or office, I Highly Recommend this company and their product. I've used other types of chair mats that were all but useless, and lasted at most a year. I have no doubt that this glass mat will last many many years. One of the best purchases I've made in a very long time. A little spendy perhaps, but looks, serviceability and durability far outweigh the cost.
