I accidentally poisoned myself, so my first stop was urgent care (who said they couldn’t help me??), but while I waited I thought activated charcoal would be the better option (because it’s quick, cost-effective, and the ER would have given me activated charcoal). So feeling nauseated, light-headed, and the fingertip tingling (neuropathy), I headed to The Vitamin Shoppe. I think the Store Manager’s name is Scott. I said to Scott, “I need activated charcoal and a bottle of water. I accidentally poisoned myself.” Scott immediately started walking to get the charcoal while I got the bottled water. Then, Scott helped me cut open the capsules and then I added them to the bottled water, which I drank in seconds. I asked Scott if I could sit outside in case I became unconscious so he could call 911. Scott did one better — he offered me a chair and told me I could sit by his register. Fifteen minutes later, I was feeling better! Out of kindness and compassion, Scott did not charge me for the water or the activated charcoal. How is that for not just customer service, but also for being a Stellar Human, otherwise known as a “Good Samaritan”. Thank you, Scott! You literally saved my life! I feel energized again and the neuropathy is gone. I will do a coffee enema this evening, which will flush out remaining toxins, and Scott/VS saved me from a costly ER visit. That particular Vitamin Shoppe location definitely has my loyalty. The staff always treats me with kindness and they are always helpful in recommending products. Also, after purchasing a defective Sovereign Silver product, TVS gave me a full refund without question, so now I buy one of their other brands.

This is specifically for the Vitamin Shoppe located at 15131 S LaGrange Rd, Orland Park, IL 60462. I looked online for Himalaya Amla and Black Castor Oil Argan and Amla. Both products were shown as being available at Vitamin Shoppe stores. I went into the local store in Orland Park, IL to buy them. Almost immediately upon entering the store, a woman asked if she could help me find anything. Unfortunately, she said that Himalaya Amla is no longer carried by Vitamin Shoppe. She suggested that I try a local mom-and-pop store (My Vitality) down the street. She was able to order the other product for me and was kind enough to waive the shipping charges. The lady's name is Colleen S. (on her name tag). She said I would have the item in a few days. She was absolutely wonderful and very nice. I was really impressed by her desire to help me find what I was looking for, suggest a competitor as a possible source, her willingness to research how to get me what I wanted and putting in an order for me. This is my second visit to this particular Vitamin Shoppe. I am impressed by the level of service offered. The first visit was also rewarding, as the middle aged gentleman who waited on me was very helpful. Unfortunately, the product I wanted was not carried by Vitamin Shoppe. The staff there is top notch.

Shocked to see so many bad reviews. I have always been happy with my order. I was so shocked to find my box on our doorstep just 48 hours after I ordered. All my faves well packaged and in the box. I order supplements from a couple vitamin companies but always return to the Vitamin Shoppe for free shipping and products I love.
