Further to my previous review of Seep... after contacting the company, they quickly sent a replacement batch of sponges. These have fared much better. I've had 2 weeks use out of a washing-up sponge and still some life left in it!

So far loving my washing up sponge. Bendy enough to get in corners but strong and sturdy enough to do the job. Will see how long it lasts and report back but so far v happy and glad to be doing my bit.

I've been making my household more ecological for years as new products become available, so trying Seep was a no-brainer for me. I ordered the Eco Sponges with scourers and Eco pop up Sponges and received a £5 off my order. I can't wait for my old products scourers and sponges to wear out before using these. I ordered on the Wednesday and they were with me by the Friday so you can't ask for better so I'd highly recommend Seep for all those who are ecologically and environmentally minded.

Efficiently delivered sponges and gloves. Good quality sponges and great product.

I quite naively didnt realise the spontex sponges were incredibly bad for the environment so switched to these. The company is doing what others are supposed to be following suit with! The good: They are great and last a long time. (both sponges and the dish clothes) Dish clothes are far superior to the blue jay clothes you get from the supermarket Eco friendly Dry quickly Good size non scratch for your nonstick pans The not so good: They're a 4/5 for cleaning off hard grime/burnt food and I unfortunately still have to go to my other non scratch sponge when Ive got some particularly stubborn burnt on food (even after soaking the pan). They don't foam your liquid soap. Maybe its cause I'm in a hard water area but I find that when I use my spontex sponge I get a lot of lather from a small drop of liquid but don't with these. They're incredibly "sticky" when you try to wrap them round an edge or lip of a plate or bowl, or a wooden spoon. What I mean by this is when you want to do a few scrubs of a handle, you grab the handle with the sponge in your hand and then clasp your hand round the object and move the sponge up and down, and it's this motion which is particularly resistant compared to the spontex sponges. Just a couple of things Ive noticed which I'd like to share.
