Stonewall Kitchen – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I recently purchased a bottle of syrup and a jar of jelly. They arrived separately. The jelly was fine. The jar was sealed and it was protected by bubble wrap. The syrup, however, was not sealed, it was leaking, and the cap did not fit tightly. My complaint is not about the packing. Things happen. My complaint is about Stonewall Kitchens apparent refusal to address this issue, in spite of numerous attempts to communicate with this company. When I called, the automated voice asked me to leave a message and my call would be returned within 24 hours. That did not happen. It’s been almost a week and I have made several attempts to get this issue resolved. All I wanted was a new bottle of syrup. My recommendation is to not order products from this company because if a problem occurs, you will not hear from Stonewall Kitchen. I guess I’m just eating (figuratively) my ten bucks.

Working there is a nightmare. And coming from behind the scenes I try multiple products. Some are good but they have changed so many ingredients as of late to cheaper options... also we have allowed rust to run through many of the jam products. Had charcoal run in the sauce products. Maybe not too terrible to run through but still gross to think about considering we are all about "Quality". If you ever considered working for the company at all. don't.. There's a chance you'll just get fired right away, you'll stay here for years with no raise and even if you did get one you get .50 cents.. HR is non-confidential and LOVE your drama! Management does not communicate nor give care for their employees. We had an employee literally pass away and they only treated it as another day. Put out an ad on indeed the same day... I'm sure this is something that happens too with most companies, but this company claims to be "a family" and is locally owned.. yet they sold out to Mass cooperations 3 times and have gone on a spree buying off other companies to earn more but really are desperate since our overpriced products aren't selling... Hence why I said you probably would get fired right away! There are different departments ofcourse but all are terrible options expect for maybe the office jobs but that's only open to people they deem fit themselves... aka Friends, family and people they like or know only. ONLY. Randoms are pushed towards the store setting, production or stocking. Please do try the products if you dare, some are decent, few are good and most taste like feet or vomit or have terrible textures and smells. Also they're wayyyy overpriced and will only continue to up prices because other companies are "competing"... last I checked Welch's is not that expensive and have easy accessible bottles and jars. But the choice is yours. Come to Maine and indulge in the "quality" or save your tastebuds the trouble.

I wish I could leave positive feedback on my experience with them. But it wasn't positive at all. For the first time, I placed an order on their website, and it wasn't processed. But the money was deducted, and their customer support fed me with promises that the charge should drop off my card in the "next several days". I was waiting almost for a week, but the money was returned thank God. 3 stars because I really wanted to buy candles from them and I love their candles but it took me lots of nerves while waiting for funds to be returned for the order I couldn't receive.

I purchased a large quantity of Stonewall Kitchen's single-serve pancake mixes for a virtual work event; we mailed them to recipients to cook at home at their own leisure, and I was very impressed. Stonewall's shipping was fast and everything arrived neatly packed and undamaged- we got rave reviews from the event attendees too!

December 2019 I purchased a set of 3 salsa to try. I was very excited to try something from this company since the packaging was so nice and you received three different flavors in the box ( which was not inexpensive I might add). So during 2020 I started to try each jar one by one (and just opened my last one recently), and boy am I glad that I did not give this as a gift to someone because every single jar was completely inedible. All the flavors even the ones that had sweet flavors such as mango and or corn we're so sour you could not eat this at all, not only did it overpower the food but it literally made your tongue numb from the over-saturation of the vinegar / acidic additives. I will never buy anything from this company again, not only because I was super disappointed with the horrible flavors and quality but also because my effort to reach out to customer service on this website what's completely ignored. It's very sad when companies disregard/ignore their customers and this is why I'm here writing a review because companies who have a business dealing with people....who survive off to customers purchasing their food items should not ignore concerns or suggestion from unhappy customers in general. Even though the packaging and the jars look so nice unopened, the product inside was complete sour garbage, I am so happy that I did not gift this to someone because it would be embarrassing but I am very upset that I wasted my hard earned money on something I have to throw out completely uneaten. - UPDATE : Reached out to the company and they made it right, great customer care which is refreshing although they did say they didn't get my first email. They also addressed the situation and said they would work on correcting it.
