------- Update 12/30/2021: Raised from 1 star to 5 stars after site claims to have amended review publishing settings to allow immediate publication of reviews, including negative ones. Awesome! ------- Although I am mostly happy with the purchases I have made on this site so far, I must give this business a 1 star based on its extremely distasteful practice of not publishing any negative reviews. Specifically, they will automatically publish any "4 star" or "5 star" product review, but anything below that will never be published. And no one from their staff reaches out to the author of a negative review to offer an explanation as to why the review will not be published. Not only is this cowardly, but the practice is deceptive. Consumers obviously rely on product reviews, often materially, in deciding whether or not to purchase an item. And in this website’s case, many of the products are labeled “premium” and over $100 and are not able to be independently researched by a consumer prior to purchase. Therefore, honest reviews are extremely important. By only presenting positive reviews and concealing/discarding the negative, this business is actively engaging in false advertising, among other things. Also, I have noticed (actually, it’s quite obvious) that there is one user who is clearly a staff member, writing fake “5 star” reviews on random products. Please have a little more respect for your customers. If you are going to hold out as a business, you'd better be prepared to deal with tough reviews.
