I recently made a purchase from their website, intending to take advantage of a 15% off coupon for a rug. As I proceeded to submit my order, the discounted price was clearly displayed, so I was surprised when the confirmation email arrived showing that I had been charged the full price. Resolving this issue turned out to be a frustratingly time-consuming ordeal. Despite reaching out to their customer service through multiple emails, my concerns seemed to go unnoticed. In fact, it took numerous attempts and about six emails before they finally acknowledged their mistake. To make matters worse, when they did offer a refund, they miscalculated the amount and shorted me about $3. At that point, I realized it wouldn't be worth my time and effort to pursue the remaining balance. What really infuriated me was the lack of concern shown regarding the malfunctioning checkout process. This situation has led me to suspect that the error was intentional, with hopes that I wouldn't notice, and further, that I would become discouraged by their unresponsive customer No exegeration, this has been by far the worst experience I've had when purchasing something online. Edit: I read some of the reviews for rugs.com and others had the same problem as me; being charged more than shown in the cart. At the very least this shows the company is negligent in fixing software problems that cause pricing errors. Buy from this company at your own risk.

I have been trying to contact the company and no response. I wonder where my $300 rug is. I tried to log in and they say wrong password and check your e- mail for instructions to reset your password. NO E-MAIL…. NOTHING

I placed an order for a rug and I got a confirmation e-mail with a higher price. What a scam! I contacted Rugs.com and basically they said that's the price and I said what about the confirmation and the answer was we can cancel your order. So I did. Terrible company to deal with.

This company has a lot of highly rated reviews. My experience was just the opposite: the rug had been expensive, significantly reduced in price with no disclaimer about damage, and was terribly damaged when received: the tufts were destroyed/eaten away to the backing of the carpet, the colors bled into each other. Simply stated, it never should have been sold. On looking back at the online pictures, one could make out the damage but it wasn't so clear before purchase. After asking for a replacement I was told there was no replacement available, They then offered increasing discounts, however that would not "make good" the significant damage to the carpet. It never should have been sold in the first place. I returned it and they promptly refunded the payment. With all of the very excellent reviews, I am very disappointed with my experience.

I didn’t see anything about vacuuming the rug.
