I had made an accidental booking, so I made a second booking and called to cancel the first booking within 24 hours of placing the booking for July (4 months away). Sorry we can only give you a 50% refund, are you taking the p*ss? That is genuinely awful policy, what a terrible company. Edit: Ok so customer services did reach out and resolve this. It has turned this situation in to a more positive experience. Thank you Red Funnel customer services. I think you should seriously consider a more lenient cancellation policy though e.g. 48 hours to cancel for a full refund (depending on how close the booking is to the actual date of departure).

Thanks to your two ladies last Tuesday morning when it was a really foggy morning, I was able to make my appointments on the Isle of Wight. Whilst other people were getting frustrated with the fog these two ladies stayed calm and relaxed and really helpful. I cannot thank Red Funnel enough. I have always found the service on board excellent. Last night, 1st Jan 2023, 7.30 from Cowes, IOW, the crew went beyond their normal duties, I am sure. My dip lights went and I asked the officer on board if someone may be able to check my dip and headlights. A big thank you to Chris who checked all the fuses. A big thank you to the rest of the crew to ensure I was parked safely while I waited for recovery. A big thank you to Liam for sussing the issue and phoning recovery with the information. Thanks guys. I arrived home safely. I wish you the very best for 2023.
