The training and assessment of the ECC NEC4 Supervisor is quite possibly the worst assignment I have ever taken. And that's holding it against BA Hons Degree. The course starts off with with training material that is a bunch of slides you must read through yourself followed by 2 sets of MCQ which marked me down on questions I got right and asked questions that were never covered in the slides. If you manage to pass that (I failed 2nd part 1st go with 30 hours revising with very poor resources) with some questions and answers incorrectly marked, you then get to go to a taught class for 3 days to which you will receive the full Contract course material that I should have had to begin with. Then you have another MCQ exam and a written exam. The written exam you get to take your time and it's open book, however the examiners are not competent and incorrectly failed me. Feedback was given that was factually incorrect and took months. I appealed at a further cost and my mark went down and did not justify the mark given. I was then offered resit at further cost and it's been changed to another MCQ now. It looks like they've scrapped the essay. All in all the course, having done PRINCE2, this NEC claims to be more simple, but it is not. It uses contradictory terms, the contract and training materials do not align well with the exam marking answers wrong that were right. Having an exam before you know anything about it. I notice many errors in materials. They are not professional as they claim to be and treat candidates very unfair to the point I feel that are scamming for more and more money. The accreditation only lasts 5 years. It's an expensive mistake.
