After doing several hours of research, we decided that the Natural Escape hybrid organic mattress by My Green Mattress was most commensurate with our needs while saving several hundred dollars compared to other companies. We recently received and set up our mattress and could not be more ecstatic! It is like sleeping on a 5-star luxury hotel mattress… but better due to the added comfort in knowing the mattress is organic and free from chemicals (the chemicals used in the manufacturing of a traditional mattress are pretty scary). The Natural Escape is superior in every rating category. It is extremely comfortable and softly conforms to those side-sleeper contact points, hips and shoulders; I can actually sleep in on the weekend with no pressure point pain. On my previous mattress, I had to flip multiple times in the night due to discomfort. Also, I can get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom without waking my light-sleeping husband because of the excellent motion isolation and the complete lack of creaks or squeaks. My husband sleeps on the edge of the mattress, and the Natural Escape has tighter coils along the edge, so he doesn’t feel like he’s going to roll off the edge like when sleeping on a foam mattress. So far, this mattress sustains temperature neutrality better than any mattress we’ve slept on, but we haven’t hit those hot summer months yet. Some reviewers mentioned off-gassing from the latex; while there was some slight off-gassing after we set up the bed, it was completely gone in a few hours, and I have a strong sense of smell! I would recommend this mattress to anyone who wants a healthy, organic, and luxuriously comfortable mattress that is an excellent value for what you get!

I loved my Pure Echo right out of the roll! The "aroma" that some mention was minimal. Natural products like wool do have a natural scent, but it dissipated within the first 24 hours. The firmness is perfect! I am not using a topper, just the Organic Cotton Waterproof Mattress Protector and a new set of modal sheets from Bed, Bath & Beyond. Customer service at mygreenmattress.com helped me a lot in deciding on my purchase. Great company! Great products!

Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this company! Love the integrity, obvious care, and commitment to health by the owner, Tim! All the mattresses are Greenguard Gold certified which gave me peace of mind since my elderly mother is sensitive to anything toxic. We were impressed with the well made high quality mattress that we received! My mother LOVES her bed and is grateful for such comfort and beauty rolled into one!

Sadly, this mattress did not fit into our crib, which we could not return. This was really disappointing as we loved the mattress and the company (both purchasing and returning) were wonderful to work with. It was really hard to find a mattress we felt was safe - both in terms of material used and firmness - for our infant. This one fit the bill. We will definitely be back in the future. Some folks noted a smell once receiving the mattress. This was the case - it reminded me of a smell you run into in the country side - but it disappeared within days.
