Personally didn’t have any issues with my experience with hopper. I booked 4 plane tickets including a roundtrip flight from NYC to Spain for under $700 for all 4 flights in the summer of 2022. I will use again. The hotel section seems iffy, I’d rather use Expedia for hotels.

I see a lot of bad reviews on here but I can personally say I've utilized Hopper multiple times, including out of the country flights. I have never had a problem. I've never had to contact them to resolve an issue, so I can't speak to that, but I recommend them to people a lot and have never had negative feedback.

Booked a hotel through Hopper. When I arrived to the hotel, there was an issue with my reservation, it has been booked for the sister hotel in Spain, not in France where i was currently. The hotel explained that this happened before with multiple third party booking sites so wasn't just an issue Hopper had had. I called Hopper and got through to someone straight away (I wont lie I was impressed with how quickly they answered), they were extremely helpful and got me a new hotel reservation for that night that was convenient for me. Due to it being the rugby world cup, prices were a lot more expensive and there was less availability so I needed to pay extra for the hotel room, which Hopper refunded me back in 2 days. The only downside is i spent an hour on the phone to Hopper (as i said it was rugby world cup so availability in the area was sparse, if it was a normal weekend, the call would have likely been a quarter of this time), this cost me £125 in phone fees which unfortunately i wont get back. Saying this, I will use Hopper again, their customer service was up there with the best i have seen. They were extremely helpful, sorted out my accommodation and refunded my money very quickly - normally through insurance you can be waiting months and they will do anything not to pay, but Hopper were really apologetic and beyond the phone charges fees I received, they made it all really easy.
