They are so f’ing useless!! Excuse the language but I am very irritated with this company and the location I have had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with. I’ve talked to three different people online who said that my order pickup would be ready today (Monday) since Sundays they don’t do order pick ups. Fine, whatever. Waited for an email all day today and nothing. Called at 4:30 the first time the associate supposedly went to check on my order and never came back to the phone and it ended after 11 minutes. Second time I called they picked up at the very last moment and left to check on my order once again and eight minutes later came back and said that I should call tomorrow to speak to their manager since it’ll be ready by then but they also claimed to have my items there and ready but it’s not ready????? Ridiculous.

Purchased a Squire Strat from their sister company "Music & Arts" for $313.48. This was possibly the worst decision of my life. The guitar was never delivered to me. I couldn’t reach their customer service so I filed a dispute with my credit card and won. Then I get another unauthorized charge from them a month later. I dispute again and get my money back. I changed my card number and put a block on them. On top of this all, their customer service is absolutely terrible. I spent several hours of my time trying to reach them. They said I don’t owe anything everytime I called them, said the same thing when I filed a BBB complaint. They also gave me a UPS tracking ID which still says “Carrier awaiting Pickup”. 2 months later, they mention in the BBB complaint response that they infact shipped through Fedex and it was delivered. It was not delivered to me, I never signed for it and I don’t know where it got delivered. Probably got delivered to the wrong address. Then they started harrassing me, calling me at 6 AM asking me to pay up because I “rented an instrument”. They also sent a couple of notices demanding money for the guitar I never received. They just charged me another $328.48 a couple of days ago without my permission. I don't even know how they got my new card number? Their customer service is once again unreachable. I filed a new BBB complaint and they sent out a nasty response refusing to take responsibility for not delivering the guitar or offering a refund. I've filed complaints with the Arizona Attorney General, the FTC, VISA and reported their latest transaction to my bank as fraud. I will be filing complaints with the CFPB, other federal and state agencies to make sure they don't steal my money again. I'm just posting here to warn people about this pathetic company. "Music & Arts" doesn't have a Trust Pilot page, it's owned by Guitar Center, so posting here.

As you can you can see from my previous post about not receiving a used guitar. Guitar center has not made a comment crickets chirping. I am going to file a complaint to the post master generals office for mail fraud. I urge anyone who has had a bad experience buying equipment online by mail to do the same. You can't keep my money and the guitar both. The problem is the carriers and guitar center needs to file a claim against them and let the customer off the hook.

I ordered a used guitar online from the guitar center in McAllen Texas and never recieved it. After 7 days of no updates by the carrier I canceled the order. I talked to their customer service and was told the guitar was still coming to my address and I can return it and get a full refund at the guitar center near my house. The guitar has never been delivered and last person I talked too told me it's my problem not theirs. I'm still waiting on a refund three weeks later and the 45 day return policy is running out. I'm out $1200 and no guitar. I never signed for the delivery because it never arrived and they are incompetent to deal with a resolution all I get are smart ass remarks from someone named Bex. I've bought many guitars from guitar center over the years and have been satisfied. Do not buy used equipment from them they are scandalous and not the same company anymore.

From my perspective, Guitar Center is just out of touch with taking care of customers and their competition. The latest instance is this. I got a t-shirt from a friend as a birthday present. It was a large and I wanted to replace it for a medium. The shirt had not been washed or worn. It would have been an easy thing for them to exchange it. Nope. First they told me they don't exchange shirts, then they told me I needed a receipt. Did I mention it was a birthday present. I vowed today to buy all my music gear from anywhere else but GC.
