Last GreenPan Reviews from Trustpilot

I’ve read a lot of these negative reviews and to be honest, I fail to understand them. I got a set as a gift, almost three years ago. Having experience in the past with Teflon, I was prepared to use these with kid gloves. Well, I don’t mistreat them but the gloves came off long ago. I love these pans. They require little if any oil, they clean better then any type of pan I have ever owned ( was in the restaurant bus for 35 years). I am sold on these and if I can help it, I won’t buy anything else in the future. Anyone who has used Teflon, knows how ridiculously fragile the coating is. Get a scratch, then throw it away, because that garbage will flak into your food, 3 years so far and the coating is solid.

I am a repeat customer. I disagree with the people on here who say the Greenpan products are rubbish etc. I have found them to be good, and they seem to work as claimed, although one product did kick the bucket in terms of being non stick. Where they need to improve is with their 14-day returns policy. The 14 day policy isn't a "policy" as such as the Consumer Rights Act requires distance sellers to provide for a 14 days return policy, therefore their policy is to merely comply with the law. But "best practise" in e-commerce is to give purchasers at least 30 days. With non perishable products, many give more than 30 days. I would urge Greenpan to reconsider their 14 days policy, which isn't really a policy, as its the law, and replace it with a more user friendly one, which won't leave them with angry, frustrated customers.

Purchased Valencia Pro $579.00 set a month ago. Performed the egg test. Did not stick. The egg slid out of the pan. Made an omelet with cheese. Cheese did not stick. Slid right out of than into my plate. I cooked steak tip in the pan with the grooves. Added various seasonings along with barbecue sauce. Nothing stuck. I cooked spaghetti, water over flowed. Very little water left in the pan. Spaghetti did not stick. Each one of the meals, clean up is a breeze. I have not put these pans in the dishwasher. I use wooden utensils. A product such as Green Pan, for me to leave any type of review, not to mention a 5 star review is rare. This product, at least the Valencia Pro does everything it says. Thank you

I am amazed at the numbers of buyers who have complained about GreenPan products they have bought. My experience of pleasure in using mine, after several years might be due to the fact that I follow to the letter every word of instructions! I am a one person user. I have 2 frying pans different colours and a completely black small hob saucepan of this brand. One of the items: Black hob saucepan 14cm. for intensive daily use with all hobs, including induction. Infinity.(ceramic noon-stick enhanced with diamonds) Extremely durable non-stick. Intensive daily use. Metal utensil safe interior. N0V 2018. Thermolon. Ceramic non-stick. Responsible technology Care and Use Instructions Booklet: 8 pages. Thermolon endurance, Non-stick technology, PTFE -FREE. I have written: Hand Wash. Frying pan. One of the frying pans was Cambridge Range. 20 cm. (both same size) I use all three items: two regularly One frying pan and the hob saucepan. The other frying pan less often mixed in with other cookware. I follow the care instructions explicitly. Hand washing is the best method though it seems from one note I have for one of the items is 'Dishwasher safe' but with care instructions about type of detergents and hard water etc. The ceramic coatings can be broken down if this is not abided by. Even the oil/butter one should use for frying must be followed. And the non use of abrasive cleaning pads etc for items when hand washing. No steel wool etc., Heat settings for frying are extremely important. If there is some food left adhering in a pan just let it cool, then add some water bring to a quick boil: Turn off and leave to cool; when it is easy to wipe away. Which is what I regularly do. If by accident there is over-heating of a pan up to 450degreesC /850 degrees F no toxic fumes will be released and the coating itself will not blister or peel. Don't take food straight from the fridge to cook or fry: allow 10 minutes before doing that. When the non-stick starts to fade, the thick high density ceramic undercoat allows the pan to be used just like cast iron enamelled pans. I would not hesitate to buy their Brand again.
