Czur – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Recently bought a czur ET16 pro. It was delivered quickly and very well packaged. The scan works very well, but it is "definitely" recommended that you consult a detailed manual, either on the website or via youtube. The output options, the scan options, the adjustments after performing the scans, the OCR are very good even for glossy documents and books, which are best performed in daylight.

CZUR's tech support has been responsive, answering questions within 24 hours despite the time difference. Although the scanner broke two weeks after the warranty expired, CZUR promptly diagnosed the issue and arranged a replacement though Amazon-excellent service!

I got the CZUR ET-18 Pro scanner to digitize my overflowing home library and make space. It's a lifesaver for converting physical books to PDFs for tablet reading. The scanner is pricey, but considering the space you recover, it's worth it. The software is clunky, crashes after 450-500 pages, and lacks editing options, but saving every 300 pages helps. There's a learning curve, but once mastered, it works great. Pros: - Scans two pages in under 1.5 seconds. - Foot pedal makes scanning easy, though it could be heavier. - Can scan a 350+ page book in 10-15 minutes. - Handles various page sizes, including A3. Cons: - Poor software quality and documentation. - Needs better OCR for right-to-left languages. I've scanned over 20 books in two days, significantly increasing my reading rate. For efficient space-saving and reading, this scanner is a must-have. Get rubber finger grips for faster page-turning.

In January 2024 I bought the CZUR ET18 Pro Scanner for a research project involving tabloid newspapers from 1880-1920. Despite COVID delays, I've scanned around 600 pages with great result, including a 200-page binder converted to searchable PDFs, OCR works well, especially, on old newspapers. Overall, I'm very pleased with the ET18, rating it 4.5 stars.
