Last CyberLink Reviews from Trustpilot

I have been buying PowerDVD Ultra from them for several years, a good program for playing 4K and FullHD movies. I also buy Power2Go from them. I recommend.

everything works great, there are really good effects updated regularly, and cool transitions, quality is great, workflow is awesome, you can even upload directly to youtube and vimeo and other websites, though i prefer adobe premiere's workflow, which is way easier, also you can download a lot of istock and shutterstock videos for free, which is great also, don't listen to the negative reviews.

Cyberlink powerdirector19 365 subscription and very happy with it's performance . GPU hardware acceleration is amazingly fast and the rendering quality is spot on. Now comes with Shutterstock included in the subscription and tons of content.Don't understand why so many bad reviews, been using cyberlink for at least 15yrs now and can only say it gets better and better all the time. My pc system is an old 2700k i7 CPU with 24gb of ram with an nivida gtx1650 super.can honestly say it runs powerdirector really well.. Have also got it installed on my laptop that did have an issue not running very well but once I reinstalled windows 10 with a clean up to date copy download from Microsoft at no cost ,plus updated driver's ,all was well. Personally think people need to make sure there system is clean and all driver's up to date before blaming the software as that really goes for any software as video editing doe's take a lot of your computer's resources ,if it's not up to date and you have running programs in the background , you're more than likely have issues.Have tried most video editor's on the market and found cyberlink powerdirector to be a good performer out of all when it comes to power and speed plus loads on useful contents . Others video editor's I would recommend with good GPU hardware acceleration is wondershare filmora x and Movavi video editor. Plus 2021. Personally don't think you need expensive programs like Adobe premiere Pro as most of us wouldn't Benefit from it as you would need a super high pc and have to spend £1,000 on plugins and would need adobe aftereffects to go along with it.If your in the business making large amounts of money then you would probably already have a super high pc that would cope well with the demands from Adobe software . For most of us I would save your hard earned cash and give one of these programs below a try by downloading a free trial before you buy, 1.powerdirector 19, 2.wondershare filmora x, 3.Movavi video editor plus 2021.If you decide to purchase most vender's offer a 30 day money back guarantee although not always that easy as I have found in the past. Hope this helps

So funny reading all these reviews and yes I used to be soured on Cyberlink and was really frustrated after losing months of work and clients I was about to give up too, but my recent subscription which I almost switched to a different company has proven to be a long battle of horrid issues finally resolved for now. First I recommend your computer system being minimum of 4G (I'd use more like 6-8G) with 16RAM (32RAM probably better) with compatible graphics cards. Anything less you will have issues. The programs in 365 have powerful features at very reasonable price for all that you get. I've found their tech people, although not always good at resolve, at least compassionate towards their customers issues which not a lot of software companies are. My only real issues that are constant are with New Blue filters which they are not a nice company who cares that the filters are constantly being blocked through their own registration which it's a bit odd how you have to register them after loading program so that headache is reoccurring for me. New Blue recently, as of last update, had just stopped honoring old purchases of their software so they can recharge customers triple what they originally paid for them which is really disingenuous to do; most of these no longer work now maybe due to upgrade of their own products. For those of you unfamiliar with Cyberlink, New Blue filters are an effect package that is suppose come with the purchase and it gets complicated to fix if they are not honoring their registrations. Cyberlink is switching some of these important filters out to another filter company though so luckily some of my nonworking New Blue filter are working for the other filter company. For the price I pay to Cyberlink compared to more expensive software, I've put up with this issue cause I've come to love working in the program and I've worked in multiple video programs like Vegas and Premiere. I still go back to Cyberlink for it's ease and quick templates and they've really pushed into areas that are unique with it's combined graphics programs. I guess it's all what you prefer but I gained a new respect for the company when I complained about the "online access only" for the program to work. I had very bad Internet service in my area so they did make the program operational for offline use which is fantastic as most download programs today you can't access without online Internet connectivity and this my friends is a major headache as nothing with Internet is reliable anymore. So big plus to Cyberlink for making this change. I will say when things go bad with software glitches, yes it can be bad but one thing I did always find with Cyberlink, if you can speak to someone by phone they will try their best for you to fix problems it's just that it takes forever through email responses where they understand sometimes and it's a costly and frustrating route. Unfortunately we get tampered with updates way too often now and they race to compete with competitors and it's always the customer who ends up suffering for this. I think in essence we'd all like to have quality and reliability first rather than dealing with upgrade headaches, but I think that Cyberlink does take into thought their customer's issues which I can't say about other software companies so I've continued to stay with them for now. Recent updates on program have been really nice as long as the program works for your system. They've made long processes like LUTS, animated lighting/color filters that used to be a lot of work in video much easier, then they added some interesting new features in their Photo editing software. There is hope guys as I spent almost 6 years battling upgrades and this time I got a working program finally minus my minor issues with New Blue filters which at this point I just have learned to use other ones more reliable because I found the company really unresponsive to deal with.

I bought their Power DVD media program and it is absolutely great. It works with no problem with all kind of media, provides great sound (has an equalizer) and comes with great customer service.
