Capital One – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Have been with Capital One for 15 or more years. Really is a good Bank I have had banks several I would not recommend them But! will Recommend Capital One if you handle your money and accounts you will never have a problem if you mess up and expect them not to charge late fees or what ever you did then thats on you people blame Banks for there own mistakes!

I've had a Capital One account (savings, checking, Savor One CC) for 6 years now and never had to set foot in a physical branch. The app and phone support (limited times I needed it) have been outstanding. I was considering moving money to a higher yield account at another bank and saw all the bad reviews there. Since there are even more bad reviews here, I just think people that are inept like to complain.

I had 2 fraudulent charges on my credit card. The bank notified me by phone call, text, and email asking if I had made these purchases. As an elderly widow who had previously never had a problem, the company was wonderful and protective of me. A new card was even overnighted as I was going on a vacation. Thank you Capital One!

I love this card. They always handle fraud issues really well. Recently I had one and they express shipped a new card immediately. I've never had any issues with them. They've increased my card limit on their own. Just really feel they have my back. Hope it always stays that way.

I must admit I find the negative reviews puzzling in light of my experience with Capital One Bank. I travel internationally, frequently staying on a consulting assignment for over 6 months. Capital One's credit card has been easy to use everywhere I've been AND they do not charge the "overseas fee" so common with many other cards. I find this particularly useful for documenting reimbursable expenses as they all show up in USD on my credit card statement. Further, on the 2 occasions in over 10 years when I disputed a transaction, Capital One immediately addressed the issues and I got a fair and speedy resolution. I have all my contract fees and other income deposited to my account and automatically pay the entire bill monthly, very convenient and leaves me free to concentrate on my work. The lack of an overseas funds transfer isn't a major issue, as alternatives exist. Transfers within the ACH system, including quarterly payments to IRS, are smooth and accurate. Customer service, on the few occasions I've had to use it has been great, including the time I lost my credit card in Thailand. I'll date this review for today and just want to remind readers that it really reflects over a decade of experience with Capital One Bank
