I wish I could give negative stars

I purchased a Kaya backpack from them. I have owned this backpack for less than 3 months- I have taken it on 2 business trips, both less than 3 days in length. The straps are tearing already. I could not run the risk of this breaking altogether while on a trip and potentially causing damage to my laptop, so I had to purchase a different product elsewhere. I reached out to customer service, certain that they would make amends and allow me to return the item (given that it's clearly a subpar product), and was informed that they will not allow a return, but will only allow me to send it back to them at my own expense and they can repair it, or they will send a one time replacement. Regardless of my appeals, they would not budge. Don't waste your money, and don't give them your business. Their products are cheap, and their customer service is terrible.

Nightmare company!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! Customer service is the worst. No phone number to contact them. You have to wait several days to receive any assistance. I was told my $500+ order was delivered and nothing!!! I didn’t receive my order and Calpak claims they can’t do anything about it. It’s beyond frustrating to have to wait to hear from the company itself and for them not to even attempt to help. Worst experience with a company ever!

I wish I had read these reviews before buying. I purchased a 3 piece luggage set and the first time I used the medium sized luggage I watched it come off the luggage belt onto the carousel and the entire corner smash in. I have flown hundreds of times with numerous other brands of luggage and have never had a bag be damaged from ROUTINE airline travel. Calpak then DELETED MY REVIEW to fluff their website and make their items seem better rated. They emailed me to tell me their warranty doesn’t cover airline damage, however this was just routine use- not anything the airline did specifically. Absolute trash luggage and I will never purchase luggage from them again or recommend them. Their customer service was rude, unhelpful and I don’t trust them as a company after knowing they delete product reviews.

Damaged goods received and no resolution- Horrible customer service!

I purchased the linen colored carry-on for my daughter for Christmas and was put on a pre-order list to arrive in mid-January, which was fine because she really wanted that color. It showed up a few weeks early before Christmas. When my daughter opened it, it had black scuff marks all over the luggage, which indicated that it was most likely previously used and returned and then sold as new. I tried to contact customer service, only to find that they do not have a phone number, only a general customer service email. They do not respond timely, usually a week or more between correspondences. I sent them pictures of the damaged luggage and I have yet to hear back from them. With the prices this company charges for luggage, there is no excuse to not have a Customer Service phone contact. I would highly recommend looking somewhere else for your luggage.
