Bowhunters Superstore – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

08/16/21 I drove out to BSS because I was mentally prepared to get a new crossbow. I hunt ground hogs with air gun for farms near my home. I wanted to have an archery option to shorten the safety zone down. With air guns it is still 150 yards. I wanted info advise and support. The web does not have a lot on ground hog archery and I did not want to wing it. I arrived at BSS at about 0425 pm. It is out away from things and a drive. Seemed modern and nice though. Maybe 10 customers inside. I looked around for about 5 to 10 minutes. Since I needed help I moved to the main counter and waited. The red haired woman behind the counter was waiting on customers. I waited. I watched and she scanned the room but never acknowledged me. I quietly waited. A larger man with full beard and a BSS shirt was waiting on another customer but asked me what I wanted. I told him to buy a crossbow. He said they would get to me but they were busy. I told him I would wait and stood at the counter for another 10-15 minutes. I counted approximately 10 staff person in BSS shirts come through the area. Not one inquired with or about me. One talked to a customer about his surgeries and rehab. Some staff bickered about there archery problems. Others argued over the computer. None helped me. I stood there in a bright blue shirt and tan cap right at the counter. All but the large man's customer left. Staff left the room. This customer seemed to be a repeat and was getting great service with a tally of purchases I heard said was $2000. Good for him he should have. As for me, the patient quiet respectful one. NOTHING.. I left at about 5 pm. Wasted time and gas with plans to go to a competitor in MT. Joy PA. I vented to friend on the return drive who told me to call the manager. A man with a monotone voice answered. He told me he would get the manager but within seconds told me the manager was not available. I explained the experience to him and he seemed to already know I wanted to buy a crossbow. He apologized a few times but did not ask me for message info for the manager and when I asked him if I should call the next morning for the manager, his response was he was not sure when one would be available. I guess he couldn't be bothered to find out. Again, NOTHING. A long drive, wasted time and gas for NOTHING. BS Superstore. Well if the name fits. 5.1 review stars on Facebook. Friends and Family??? I asked the man on the phone how he would feel if his Dad got treated like I did? Side note. As a type II diabetic I still wear a mask for Covid. I don't recall seeing anyone else wearing one. Maybe this was a factor, who knows... To any BSS bosses or owners, check your cameras and verify my story. Save other customers from the drive to NOTHING. How many respectful, polite quiet customers ready to spend money are you willing to lose???

Ordered goods on the website, which claimed international shipping is available, then was emailed to by Mark at Bow Hunters Superstore requesting I provided personal documents to verify the credit card used was mine, as I was unwilling to provide the information, so I cancelled the order, they processes the payment refused to send the goods and refused to deal with a refund, rude unprofessional and not to be trusted.
