Cashier Hannah C. was personable and friendly.

They have great everyday clothes and some brands I love like Free People. They have good sales as well. The ladies that work there are mostly all lovely and knowledgeable. Opening a credit card account with them is not a good thing though. They use Synchrony Bank, and I have never seen anybody harder to deal with than this bank. The billing is always wrong, and I have to spend countless hours on the phone with them proving their mistakes. Fortunately I keep all my receipts, since it's a monthly nightmare. Last month they charged me a $30.00 late fee. I had to get a statement from the bank to show when they cashed the check to prove it was before the due date. They cleared that up and my balance was 0. This month they are charging me 1 dollar and I have not shopped with them since the last debacle. Exhausting. Will give them 1 more chance before I close the account.

I never had a bad experience shipping in store or online at Belk I recommend :)

This took place at Belks in Coast Plaza, Myrtle Beach. I was shopping for a dress to wear for son’s wedding. Not only did they carry the brands I found at Dillards, but they were having a huge sale. I purchased dress and shoes for what I would have paid for dress alone. The young man (Tae) in shoe department helped me with my dress purchase and then helped me find the most perfect and comfortable pair of shoes. He was kind, professional and had very good fashion sense. I was quite impressed.

I honestly don't understand all these negative reviews! I made a purchase of Brookstone ZENMELODY Himalayan Salt Lamp & Speaker as gifts and they went on a deeper sale after purchase. I contacted the CS team and was immediately issued a refund for the difference. There was no pushback from the CS rep she was pleasant and extremely helpful. if people are going to write only negative reviews on this site it is unfair to the retailer. Exceptional service and will be a returning online customer!
