Lapis Silver Gold Mens Ring Navajo Big…

Lapis Silver Gold Mens Ring Navajo Big Boy Bought this for my son, and he loves it, fits just right, like myself he loves Native American artwork, I have dealt with Alltribes for a number of years, and their work has always impressed me, lovely craftmanship, and delivery faultless, Thumbs Up to all at Alltribes, keep up the great work. Navajo Bear Claw Turquoise Coral Pendant With Chain Bought this for my Grandaughter, as I purchase one last year for myself, and she liked it so much that I purchased one for her 16th Birthday. Well she loved it and was all over me thanking me for such a lovely piece of silver artwork, I did buy her one not the same as mine, a wee bit for feminine if that is possible. Alltribes once again is a great company to buy silverwork from, I can't say any more about the company, especially since I keep going back to them, if I see anything I like.

I took a chance and was soooo glad I did. I got Zuni cross turquoise earrings and a heavily beaded multiple string turquoise necklace. Took about 2 weeks to get and they were absolutely beautiful! Love!

I visited the actual store in Gilbert

I visited the actual store in Gilbert, AZ with my two kids. I love the Turquoise Ring I bought. The owner was super nice and gave my kids Native made leather bags and let them pick out Turquoise nuggets and arrowheads, that was cool and the kids loved it. They have a giant stash of jewelry in the back. The Old Pawn and Vintage pieces are all mixed in with the stuff their shop makes in house so it was hard to find but they were in the mix and as I started to look longer the Old Pawn pieces started jumping out at me. I saw the shop and met some nice Navajo jewelers. I talked with a Navajo woman Lenora Begay and saw the necklace she was working on. There were many more, I met Tom, Sharron, Joey, Garrison there that day. All Navajo I think. It was easy to spend a lot of time there so plan for that if you go to the store. They told me that the website has more jewelry listed than in the store because most items they make in house are usually made once they are ordered so they aren't sitting in the store but they are listed online so if you want to see everything they make its best to go through the website catalog. Overall it was an amazing experience, not corporate or phony at all. They were sawing Silver right in front of me. That was cool.

Beautiful inexpensive jewelry, but not authentic

I would suspect, as one other reviewer had stated earlier, that this jewelry is not authentically made and that there is probably one Indian overseer in charge in order to misleadingly portray authentic handmade jewelry by Indian hands. This was evident when I went to purchase a necklace for my wife from their Etsy shop. Only one item is posted at a time to give the illusion that it is one-of-a-kind, but as soon as that one finally sells, it is soon replaced with another exactly like it. In fact, I'm on the front page of their website right now, reading about the company. Exactly what I suspected, it is run by Indians, but whenever they brag about the authenticity, they point out "When you make an Alltribes Indian Art jewelry purchase, you can be confident that your exquisite Native American jewelry piece was created by a renowned artist in our shop". It's clear to me that Alltribes is striving for a prominent place in the fashion world, boasting that stars such as Ralph Lauren, Will Ferrel, and Kevin Costner wear their jewelry. But what's relieving to me is that they never claim that the jewelry is authentically handmade by Indians. So it doesn't appear that they're running a deceptive business. And a deceptive business would never make it this far after being open for 50 years anyways. Now, I'll get to the good stuff. The bone choker that I recently ordered for my wife is definitely beautiful and stunning. Authentic or not, it looks nice. The only concern I have about the physical features of the necklace itself is that the strings internally holding it all together look very thin (almost thread-like) and I wonder how long this necklace can be worn before one of them snaps. Luckily, we're pretty crafty here and I wouldn't consider something like this a total loss if it did break. I would just replace it with stronger cords. Before getting all wrapped around the axle about the authenticity about their jewelry, first - read what they're all about, and second - take a look around the internet and see the cost difference between Alltribes jewelry and authentic handmade Indian jewelry. If my bone choker was made by hand from an independent Indian artist and the silver piece in the center was hand stamped and the turquoise set in it was real, this would have cost probably over $400. But I bought it for $70. If anything, the price alone is a giveaway that it's not authentic. Authentic Indian jewelry just doesn't sell for that cheap. It's well made stuff made with hand stamped metal and real turquoise. Real Indian jewelry is not for the common man. It is very expensive. Alltribes has made beautiful jewelry inspired by Indian art at a cost that most people can afford, so it puts their product out there. The authentic stuff is harder to come by, you just don't see it as much. The silver piece in the middle of the bone choker I ordered has a highly polished finish to it that could have only been done by machine. It's still beautiful. All in all, I like the product that Alltribes is putting out. I do have to knock one star because it seems as even though it's run by Indians, it doesn't say anything about their employment of indians. Reservations are tough places and they've gotten a pretty dirty deal by the US. If Alltribes had only Indian artists, they could say more about their products and claim more authenticity. But as reservation unemployment rates are well over 70%, Alltribes seems to be getting their help from elsewhere. It would be nice to see them helping their own community more, but I suspect they're sacrificing that for bigger profits and more mass production.
