Travelodge – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I visited Travelodge in Elephant and Castle London for two nights with my two grandsons and their mum. The hotel is excellent for the price. Our room was clean and spacious enough for the four of us and the two single beds in the family room had really good mattresses on them (as good as the double bed). Breakfast is great, supplying everything that the adults and children in our group could want. Hotel is near enough to London Centre to get to the main attractions by bus in 20 minutes or so. The staff are lovely and so very helpful. I would like to specially mention Adriana who painstakingly drew maps for us and gave us great information regarding bus services. Also Mohammed who provided excellent first aid to me after I unfortunately had a fall on the way back to the hotel. I honestly cannot praise these two and indeed all the staff at the hotel enough for the care and attention they gave us and made our stay really memorable. Just one thing to mention, the hotel doesn't have a luggage storage facility which became an issue for us as we wanted to sightsee on our last day. We ended up putting our bags in a storage place near Euston Station (about £7 per bag).

Nice hotel. Clean, modern, quiet room. TV, Team/Coffee. Friendly staff. Fantastic location, adjacent to lots of restaurants and an IMAX Cinema which I made use of one evening, plus a big shopping centre. Recommended.

I think this place is beautiful I love all the staff they are wonderful and amazing they help my stay here really welcome.

I stayed at travelodge Blackpool South Shore and upon entering one staff member made us feel very welcomed. Her name is Glenda. From start to the end of our stay she was absolutely brilliant. I've been to a few Travelodge hotels and this was by far the best purely due to Glenda. Other staff need to learn from her as they are the face of the business. I would give her more then 5 stars but I can't so here's my version 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Due to cross contamination in breakfast time she couldn't understand how as she stated everything was kept seperate in kitchen and in the restaurant until I explained that it was not the hotel at fault it was customers touching meat items with the veg utensils and she offered to make us the veg items fresh for us that hadn't been contaminated. Travelodge please give this wonderful lady a pay rise or a bonus. She wasn't just doing a job she had passion and was fulfilling her duty with care. Glenda if you reading this THANK YOU VERY MUCH, you made our and I hope I've made yours.
