Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service. I ordered some items for the holidays with the promise to ship in 2-3 days. After 8 days and only half my order shipping I reached out. First, they asked me to supply all the information I already gave to start the chat. Annoying, but fine. Then the agent was allegedly looking into my issue when the chat just dropped and I was reassigned to a new person and had to do the whole thing again. She basically just said she had no information for me, gave me an inactive tracking number and told me to keep an eye on it, and if it didn't ship in 48 hours I should request a refund. I asked if I would be contacted if there was something wrong with my order, and she said nope, I need to reach back out to them. Based on other reviews here I am not expecting much if I need to get a refund. Both agents also had tough attitudes, mispelling things and clearly not actually reading my messages.

Rather Frustrating Customer Experience.

Between Jenelle by email and Rhonda on the phone, my goodness this was a rather frustrating customer service experience. Jenelle didn't seem to understand I already received the packages associated with my online order which didn't contain part of the order and so, instructed me to wait another 5 days for the packages I already received lol! So, I resorted to a phone call instead. Then Rhonda spent most of our phone call talking to herself and her computer screen, verbally self-reporting her own and the computer's incompetence! Fortunately by some twist of fate, that call was inadvertently disconnected. When I called back, I spoke to Renee who seemingly more competently could understand the issue and much more efficiently set about putting in for a re-ship of the items I haven't yet received. Fingers crossed they get delivered successfully this time! Not sure online orders from World Market are worth this trouble in the future and I don't think I'll be back.

I placed my order online for one…

I placed my order online for one location, Stevens Creek (Relo). The order had 3 items. Then, a day later, I received Auto Cancelation for 2 of my items. I didn't want to drive 15 ml to pick up one item and I cancel my order (via email and calling customer service multiple times). It has been 5 days since I canceled it and am still getting multiple emails for this remaining item to be picked up. Their system is broken. The main office and the locations don't share information. I finally was told that I need to call the specific location. I don't work for Cost Plus World Market. Why do I need to spend so much time on coordinating my order?

It takes forever to get all the bookcases. I ordered 3 on 9/10 and 1 damaged so i have to call to reorder, A CUSTOMER HAS TO REORDER A DAMAGED GOOD EVEN THE CARRIER NOTIFY THE SELLER. today I got an email saying the replacement is shipped in economy and the delivery is expected on 10/18. They have the goods available but it takes 40 days to get them?? so inefficient! I give 3 starts because the bookcases are pretty good. Solid quality for books and good price compare to other similar sized bookcases.
