On flight VA92 from Denpasar to Melbourne I was sitting in row 5. The flight takes a bit over 5 and a half hours. It took off almost an hour late but that seems to be normal but it means sitting for an hour in the plane which becomes a problem later. I accept the fact that I've got to watch the limited entertainment on my iPhone. I accept that I have to pay for the limited range of food supplied on board. What I cannot accept is being denied access to the toilets for 2 hours with no forewarning. I'm not sure of the model of the plane but it only has 1 aisle. The food and drink trolley totally fills the aisle. It takes about 1 min to serve each passenger. This means the aisle is blocked for about 2 hours. Plus the fact that there only 2 toilets for about 150 people means there is going to be a problem. Passengers started queueing up behind the trolley and asked to be let through somehow but were denied. Some children started crying and were allowed to use the business class toilets but adults were not allowed in the business class toilets. They were told it would only be another 5 mins but blind Freddy could see it would be closer to 30 mins. You could feel the tension rising until one guy said he was about to 'P**s in the aisle'. He forced his way past the trolley and went to the toilet. Only then was the trolley moved to the end of the aisle to allow the 30 or more passengers through to the toilet. Why they couldn't let passengers use the business class toilets is totally beyond me. It was the closest thing to a mutiny on a plane I have seen in 40 years. That was the only refreshment service on a 6 hour flight. I got 1 cup of coffee and a toastie. I have been flying with Virgin since they arrived in Australia. I'm guessing that it's time for change.

Amazing on time departure all 2 times, from Brisbane and from Cairns! Comfy seats and the IFE which was accessible bye connecting to the WiFi network, was very good, especially for a 3hr flights on a 737-800 Would definitely fly again if back aussie, good job virgin Australia

My story i brief 20.12.22 i arrive at airport Tulla at 5.30am for a 7.00am flight with Jetstar cancelled my gut dropped what the .Not knowing what to do I thought what can i do . The hope and joy to be on that plane to spend Christmas with my grand kids and family was i felt destroyed . i got a coffee stopped looked at my phone lets check out Virgin there flight was at 8.10am i went to the their desk and spoke to a female i wish i had got her name she was so calm accommodating i didnt i explained my problem and then bang it all happened yes sir here is your ticket you are tall i have put you in an exit seat she explained the conditions happy to help enjoy your flight and that i did it was on time and a excellent experience Thank you Please pass this on to the staff member she really deserves it regards Tony Eagles
