VirCru UK Tracking Order Status

Helpful advice pre-purchase, easy installation instructions and a system that gives peace of mind. What’s not to like?!

Over the course of a 2000km voyage through Europe, I've been amazed at how seamlessly Vircru works, whether in Cologne, Vienna or Budapest. I've relied on their monitors to tell me the exact state of charge of my house batteries throughout the day so I know exactly when they need charging. Within seconds of opening the engine room door my phone pings to let me know, even when we were moored in Bratislava. And Vircru's PIR motion sensors meant we were always free to leave the boat and explore new destinations. Vircru not only does what it says on the tin but most importantly, offers peace of mind and security.

Overall I’m very pleased with my VirCru system . This system has a lot of potential to do even more . I recently purchased the PIR sensor to add to my system . It’s great that it will tell me if there in an intruder on board but it would be better if there was alarm that sound for let’s say 2 minutes . Enough to make intruders flee. The system has been reliable . I’d like to see improved functionally within the app . Getting high boat angle notifications and having to clear them one at time while underway is not great. These notification trigger as soon a I start my engine and rev it which makes me think the system could do with some filtering to improve EMC compatibility . I’d like to be able to disable some things while on board .

Very helpful app , works really well

This is my second season with the Vircru system on my 22 foot motor boat. It’s a great peace of mind accessory and being able to ensure batteries are at the correct voltage and temperatures throughout the boat and in the engine compartment is fantastic. The intruder alert has picked up when the yard have been onboard so I’m sure it will work if there was an intruder. Very happy.
