Victorian Trading Co Tracking Order Status

Man, so sad to hear they closed! I purchased a pillow from them (that read, what part of meow don't you understand) in the early 2000's and people to this day ask me where I purchased it! My last purchase was last year. I bought a green/yellow floral scarf and I get compliments on it all the time. They had some very cool one-of-a kind-items.

I have been buying items from this company for a long time. I had hoped to place an order a week ago only to find the website is no longer working. Until December 2022, I had never had issues with orders shipping to me. The last items I ordered December 2022 took much longer than in the past. However, I received those items. I received phone calls when items I ordered were sold out. This company was a go to for holiday items and other neat things I could use to decorate my Victorian home. I hope they come back on line again.

For years I have purchased things from Victorian Trading Company. I even placed one last order in late November. I received the order right before Christmas and was sad to see the website and store are gone. I never did get an email that the item shipped, but it showed up. I enjoyed their unique gifts. I hope they are restructuring but I suspect that may not be the case.

This was my first time ordering from Victorian Trading Company and my experience has been unsatisfactory. I order 3 sets of plates from them on 12/20 and have not received them or received an email stating they have been shipped. I have tried viewing my order status online. Everytime i go to their website it is down. I also tried contacting them by email, but nobody has responded. Their automatic response states they will respond in less than 72 hours. I have yet to receive a response. I really wanted the plates I purchased, but at this point I'm ready to walk away. The processing fee and shipping fee should be waived at this point. It has been over the estimated shipping time. Luckily they have not charges my paypal or my card. I am going to keep an eye on this, but at this point I am guessing I will not be receiving my order

You don't get an email or text confirming your order. You don't get ANY notifications period. Once you have placed an order, you have to go on their website to see the status of your order. They use codes "to be picked," "in warehouse," or "shipped." HOWEVER, they do not indicate AT ALL when items have been cancelled because they are OUT OF STOCK, so when you see that your order has reached the "shipped" status, you have no way of knowing which items in your order actually shipped or which items were cancelled. (Running out of items is an issue for this Company when they do their sales promotions.) Calling a sales rep doesn't help. She told me she had no way of knowing which items in orders were in stock. So when on 12/13, I finally received the order I placed on 11/25, one of the two items in my order had been cancelled. Out of stock. This has happened to me before when buying Xmas gifts from this company. BUMMER. Regretfully, I placed yet another order on 11/26. Says it shipped yesterday. So still waiting for it. All Xmas gifts. I wonder which items I will actually receive, which items will have been cancelled because they were OUT OF STOCK. It is beyond me why that IMPORTANT issue could not be addressed on your order status, so that you have time to buy a replacement gift. This company has nice items for the most part, but I have decided that it is simply NOT worth the long wait time for shipping and NOT worth the uncertainty over whether the items ordered will even arrive. If you are shopping for Xmas gifts from Victorian Trading Co, you need a back up plan.
