My humidifier works great but I had a bad experience with customer service. After it stopped working after 2.5 years, I called and they said it would be $25 for a gear, $8 for a coupling, and $12 for shipping. They didn't send an invoice by email or in the package, and when I looked at my credit card bill, I was charged $65. I emailed to ask about it, and they said shipping for Canada is actually $32. I wrote back saying this was not fair and they should honour the price I was quoted, and didn't get a reply. First, $32 USD is a way too high for two small plastic parts that fit in the palm of my hand. The actual shipping cost would be around $8-15. If your product breaks so quickly, you should not overcharge customers for the replacement parts shipping. Second, you need to tell customers the accurate price before you charge their credit card.

I was hoping for more humidity with the LW45 Comfort Plus. I went with the biggest unit because I have a wall of windows looking out into a courtyard in my NY apartment. There is some draftiness due to the windows but I thought the LW45 Comfort Plus would deliver more than enough humidity to compensate for that. The gauge barely breaks 32% in the living room where the unit is, but at least that is almost two times more humidity than I have without it. The bedroom, however, barely breaks 20% even with the doors open and having 18" of an opening all around the top of the room. I'm satisfied but i'm not blown away, as I was hoping to be from the product claims and from the great reputation of the company.

Excellent everything was good

Venta returned my humidifier quickly after I sent it in for cleaning 5 years after purchase. It looked like new! They said it had been exceptionally dirty and provided explicit instructions on how to do thorough regular maintenance. Sorry, Venta folks, I promise to do better because I love how well my humidifier works.

The new air washer works fine but I did not receive any documentation: no warranty information, not even a receipt or confirmation other than the delivery information the last one we bought had a motor that died but I did not have documentation to apply for warranty repair, I would appreciate receiving full documentation on the new one purchased May 21 2024
