I bought a UE Boom 2 and a Megaboom, and both have been working great for the last 5 years. The cables were not always great and broke, but that is normal. The speakers are super durable. I needed to put the UE Boom 2 in the fridge several times for it to start charging again, which is a weird fix but it worked. I don't have any experience with customer service.

Megaboom 3. Good. the battery is incredible, charged 10 times in like two years of use (the promise of 20hours is laaargely held). durability, good. the rubber will eat it all (looks uglyer now but whatever). sound, good. Roaring bass, yes. loud, yes, enough for 10 persons outside. like LOUD. conclusion? price, worth.

Quality sound with a sleek design. Owned the mega boom for over 3 years and still going strong with heavy use. Looks, feels and sounds class…it’s up there with the best. I will definitely invest in another product from Ultimate ears when the time comes!

I have had a number of custom moulds over the years for headphones or noise protection, using Snugs and ACS. This product was cheaper so I thought I would give them a try, but I will only deal with ACS or Snugs now in future. First issue was ear mould place I was sent to advising I had been quoted the wrong price and this continued to happen to customers after they had provide feedback. Awkward. My product then took 5 weeks to arrive and the mould for the canal was far too long. They advised this was how they made them, but almost impossible to get full into ear and very uncomfortable. They were the sent back but just really poor workmanship compared to the other versions I have received. Also very small holes for any music to come through compared to other products. Add to that really poor customer service where they don't respond to emails and a general lack of communication or empathy when I sent these back in, not happy at all really. I was also promised a refund on mail costs, but this hasn't happened.

I purchased UE fits earbuds as a Christmas gift for my son. When he opened up the earbud case, one of the earbud tips looked crushed, while the other one looked like it had a hairline crack ( not easily seen on a picture). I used the live chat option, sent the representative pictures as requested and was told that they didn’t look damaged. Representative went on to say that the tips look like this during the custom fitting process. I might believe this if my son had actually started the fitting process, but he didn’t once he realized that the tips looked damaged, which I relayed back to the representative. We were told to start the molding process and reach back out with further questions. Earbuds are non returnable once they are custom molded! Not helpful, considering the price I paid. They could have, at the very least, offered to send out replacement tips. I won’t be ordering from this company again after I purchase replacement tips!
